Completely dumb

For as long as you can remember, you've had a habit of blurting inappropriate things out when you're nervous or unsure as to what to say. This is clearly a case of both, and before you can get control of your mouth you start blurting out what you hope will be taken as an ironic joke.

"Like a completely dumb bimbo officer. Anyone looking would know immediately, right? Seems obvious to me."

She looks quizzically at you for a moment as your hasty words sink in. Horrified at what youve said, you wait for the coming aggressive response; but the change in demeanour that follows catches you entieely by surprise:

She giggles.
