Company's Gala

"Wow, you look gracefully amazing. From the prom you said? You must be the queen of the prom then." Jerry amused by the look of Christy as he open the door to her apartment

"Thank you. You flattered me. You're look good in tuxedo yourself." She blushed and politely return the comment.

"Shall we go?" He opens the door on the passenger seat.

"Sure." She slide trough the door and sit on it.

"be careful. I don't want to ruin your beautiful dress." as he close the door. Then their on the way to the Gala party.

"Well.. Well, isn't he the pro bono case lawyer Jerry McDowell himself?" Someone called from their back.

"Hi, Frank."

"And who is this charming lady? Have we met before?"

"This is Christy. My girlfriend."

"Finally. after several years, you finally got yourself a girlfriend." Said a women who stands behind Frank.

"Geez, Amy don't say that... err.. C, this is one of my Boss, Amanda Cole." Jerry

"Nice to meet you, Amy. Jerry had mention a lot." Although Christy actually knew her from her old body but she acts as it was the first time.

"Hope it's not my bad side that he always mention.." She sheepishly laughed

"No, not at all. He mention that you're good boss."

"Ha ha ha you are a good girlfriend I see. I do feel that we have met somewhere before."

"Maybe at the John's cage, I work there."

"John's cage? hmm... interesting. We don't go there lately since...."

"May I borrow your boyfriend for a while, sadly it's about work."

"So you are working at the John's cage, right?" Frank suddenly asking her about her work, he has eavesdropping

"Yes, is it bad working there?"

"How much Jerry paid you as his girlfriend?"

"what?"

"I can double... even triple what he paid. if you want to have one night stand with me."

"in your dream, Frank. Excuse me." She turn away from Frank and goes to the corner of the room after taking a glass of wine.

"C, do you miss me? I've been looking for you." Jerry back after had serious conversation with his boss and found her standing alone in the corner of the room.

"Thought you already forgot about me."

"Let go to get fresh air. it's getting crowded here." Jerry takes her hand and go to the balcony with her.

"I like you, C. You're the most beautiful girl I met"

"I know." She kiss Jerry on the lips. He stunned for a while then kiss her back.

Christy doesn't know why she kiss him. Maybe the situation and her mood urges her to do that.

"Why I kiss him? He a man, handsome and good man, and I am a girl, right? so it's natural." She thought silently.

"It's already late. Do you wanna stay at my place? or I could drop you at your place."
