Clara’s Gone

You get up out of bed and hear Erin.

“Has anyone seen Clara!”

You hop out of bed and rush around looking for Clara. She is nowhere to be seen.

Professor Guillian ushers everyone into the classroom.

“Clara is missing. While we have no idea how this happened, we have to expect the worst. If she isn’t on the boat. She’s out there.” He stops and points out to the sea. “We can only hope she is safe on one of the atolls. We’ll be organizing a search party. Two people in each boat, one staying behind. If we can’t find her we’ll return to shore.”

You can’t believe she’s gone. She is a champion swimmer and an accomplished sailor. That she simply disappeared is unthinkable.

“Who volunteers for the first boat.”

You need to be on the search. You raise your hand.
