City

"You have a car? Well then duh, let's hit Anthro City! I haven't had a chance to look around!" Liz leapt up and readied her things.

"Ground rule, though. Windows stay open at all times. Okay?" Morgan snickered, snatching her keys and following Liz out.

The parking lot wasn't far from the Williams building, and it wasn't long before the pair were climbing into Morgan's beat-up Dodge Neon. The instant the engine came on Morgan was cranking down the windows.

"There. That'll save me from being fumigated... at least somewhat."

"Pfft, I can hold them in, you know?" Liz simpered as she fiddled with her belt.

"Can and will are two very different things!"

"So," Liz shifted into a far more normal conversation as the car turned out of the parking lot and joined the main road toward the city proper, "What's your major?"

"Art." Morgan replied with a grimace as if that were embarrassing to admit. "And I know, I know, it's a useless major and everything, but-"

"Hey, it beats History! I don't really know why I picked it exactly, I guess I've always been something of a history buff but something tells me I'll change my mind on that when I'm a thousand words deep into an essay on Mesopotamian pottery or some junk."

"Art's such a broad subject I don't know exactly where I wanna go with it, it's kinda dorky but I always loved drawing my own characters and stuff, sorta like-" Morgan paused. Her muzzle wrinkled. Suddenly there was an awful smell like damp, sour cabbage swirling around the inside of the car and it took her a moment to realize it wasn't coming from outside.

"Eugh!! Liz!!"

Liz grinned like an idiot, leaning back against the chair. "What? Wasn't me!"

"Oh, yeah, I suppose it must have been me then!"

"Could've been! After all, I'd be the perfect cover, wouldn't I? Nobody would ever suspect anyone else with me around..."

"That's nasty!" Morgan guffawed, leaning her head toward the open window to try and get a faceful of fresh air.

"They don't call 'em silent but deadlies for nothing!" Liz wiggled her head proudly, then took another whiff and started fanning her hand. "Phew, okay... I'll give it to you, that one's pretty rough!"

It wasn't long before the girls had found a relatively cheap lot to park in. Morgan ripped off her belt and sprung out the car as fast as possible, gulping down fresh air. Liz had managed to crack off at least two more SBDs on the remainder of their journey and they hadn't been any easier on the nose.

"Oh my God! Maybe rooming with you is a bad idea after all!" Morgan giggled.

Liz climbed out, wafting her hand in big arcs back towards the inside of the car. "Oh, relax! I'm sure the smell'll come out within the next week or two." Morgan looked askance with a are you serious? kind of look. Liz returned with a wide beaming grin.

"Alright, alright, where do you wanna head? Shockingly that experience didn't quite destroy my appetite so I could still use some lunch."

"I'm never gonna say no to food." Liz concurred, which probably explained the severity of the smell she'd unleashed in the car. "But I'll go wherever you go! I'm not a picky eater."

"And there's a bunch of stuff we could do without eating if you want! Course, my wallet's a little light so nothing too fancy pants. Unless we can find some way of making money..."

There was a lot on offer. Morgan paused for a second to mull it over...
