“I didn’t know we were all hanging out,” Chrissy said having arrived in the courtyard.

“I… I just swung by after my swim meet. Sadly, I gotta jet. But, urhm… I will uhm…”

“Trish?” Chrissy asked. “You okay? Your face is all red?”

“”I just… I do feel a bit under the record. I mean weather. Fuck. I’m sorry. I gotta go. But I’ll see ya tomorow!”

She ran off. I couldn’t help but giggle.

Chrissy just started at me. “Whats funny. She’s like the one female friend you have. Well besides me. But I don’t count since I’m your girlfriend. If you did something to upset her you better apologize to her. Its bad enough explaining to my friends how bad you are with girls. But if you can’t even handle a lesbian. Geez. But, what’s up. Weird to see you outside alone.”

“Well, I was waiting for you, but head inside babe! I’ll catch up. I just gotta grab my book!”

“Heh! A book. You? Was Trish helping you study? Good for her. What topic, I can help-”

“No, no! It.. uhm. Heavy. I’ll grab it. Plus, I am done for the night anyhow.”

She rolled her eyes. “This is what I am talking about. How weak do you think I am? I can’t carry a book? Even if it is super heavy? Like. Whatever. You called me dipshit. This better not have just been a booty call. Like. It not that you can’t call when you are horny but I told you not to ask me to ditch my friends just cuz you want sex. Like-”

“It wasn’t that! I swear.”

Her eyes narrowed. “Okay. I’mma heat up something. You want anything?”

“Anything is fine. Surprise me,” I said.

She kissed me on the cheek and went into the dorm. I breathed a sigh of relief. Ugh. What got into me. Like. I’m glad I got Trish to lay off. I hadn’t even read a quarter of this book. And I felt fine! Like, super molly was a stretch. But investigating if there was some substance on the book was a good idea. Gloves, also a good idea.

Fuck. I forgot, I’m not supposed to ask her to come over if my main reason is sex when she’s with friends. Why… why did I ask her to come over. What is my excuse. Well…. I could think something up. I just had to think up something before she asked me. I grabbed the book and pressed the cover against me and got ready to run to my room.
