Chloe

Josh looked over and saw her sister Chloe. She was leaning against the doorway, still wearing her pajamas.

"Just, uh, not used to these shoes."

"I'm a little surprised you dress up for work, considering you're remote," Chloe said. "Good for you, though. And about time you get practice in. Heels aren't that hard, sis."

"Well, glad it's so easy for you. Wish I could have such an easy time-" Josh stopped as she realized what she was saying, and glanced at her sister who was mid blink. Time slowed so that the blink took seconds instead of a fraction of one. When time unfroze, Josh took a tentative step and found it easy to move in the heels now. "Right..."

"Hmmm?" Chloe asked, pushing away from the doorway.

"Nothing."

"Okay. Anyway, like I was saying, you couldn't get me wearing heels at all, especially if I didn't need to. I don't get how you, Holly, and mom can get anywhere in them."

"It just takes practice..." Josh said, her voice quiet as Chloe went back inside. She grabbed her food and went back to her room, eating quickly and then getting back to work.
