Chloe and Ashley

"Can I ask you a favor?" the blonde cheerleader spoke up.

"Um, sure," Chloe responded.

"Can you distract Brandon so I can get into my room and change. I'm just not ready to face him yet."

"Yeah.. yes... of course." Chloe recalled being carried back to the cabin by Brandon and bit her bottom lip.

"Thanks."

Ashley hugged Chloe, but Chloe couldn't help but feel guilt about her thoughts toward Brandon and her worry of how she would react around him. Damn, Kurt had gotten to her but it was nothing close to how she had felt in Brandon's arms.

"I'll... umm... send Zack up to let you know the coast is clear.. ok?"

"Ok." Oh Zack. Ashley suddenly wasn't sure about being alone with him again, but she needed to get changed and get to dinner without facing Brandon. Dealing with her insecurity in public where she knew she wouldn't say anything she'd regret was the best option. Wasn't it?
