Chloe's Turn?

Tyler wanders into the living room, his laptop open. He finds Chloe and Jessica sprawled on the oversized sectional, surrounded by open magazines and half-empty coffee mugs. They look like they haven’t slept much, their eyes a bit heavy, their limbs tangled in a way that looks entirely too natural.

As Tyler approaches, he doesn't feel that old, familiar urge to look at the floor. He stands over them, his gaze lingering on the curve of Jessica’s tanned legs before moving to his sister.

"Mom and Dad are all set up," Tyler says, his voice flat and self-assured. "I’m moving through the house now. I’ve got the optimization scripts ready for your hardware, Chlo. It’ll sync your phone, your tablet, and your laptop."

Chloe looks up, blowing a strand of hair out of her face. She looks skeptical. "Pass. I don't need 'focus,' Tyler. And I’m already doing fine on my own. Why would I want some weird geek-code messing with my stuff?"

Tyler doesn't back down. He looks at Jessica, who is watching him with a new, curious intensity—likely still haunted by the vision you gave her at dinner.

"It’s not just focus, Chloe," Tyler says, leaning against the back of the sofa, bringing himself closer to them. "It’s about presence. I’ve been running the baseline for forty-eight hours. Have you noticed I’m not stuttering? Have you noticed I’m actually standing in front of you instead of hiding in the attic?"

He turns his full attention to Jessica, his eyes dark. "Ask Jessica. She’s the one who’s been looking at me all morning like she’s never seen me before. Is it working, Jess? Do I seem... different to you?"

Jessica’s breath hitches. She remembers the vision of him naked at dinner last night. "You... you definitely seem like you've had a literal upgrade, Tyler. It’s actually kind of impressive."
