Chihiro Fushimi

Chihiro Fushimi readied herself for another day of school. As much as she knew that she had to go, she'd have loved to just stay home and avoid the crowds. Chihiro had never been a very social person, and being **** to interact with others was almost always an awkward experience. Rather than spend the day buried in her books, however, Chihiro was resolved to face the day. After all, there was a Student Council meeting today, and Chihiro would have to be there as Treasurer. As much as she didn't like being saddled with the responsibility of Treasurer, not being that great with numbers, Chihiro had learned to accept it. She was usually all but invisible during the meetings, and she even had a bit of a friend in that new girl, Minako.

Of course, Chihiro would still have to make it through the rest of the school day. Between being called on to answer questions in class, trying to hold it together when boys tried to make conversation with her, and making sure she had everything ready for the meeting, it was going to be as troublesome of a day as any. But that was Chihiro's lot in life and she was resolved to face it head on.

The trip to school was the usual affair; Chihiro would do her best to be essentially invisible, hiding her face behind her long brown hair when she worried that somebody might be looking at her. Chihiro had discovered that hiding herself seemed to deter the perverts that usually lurked on the monorail line, and she very rarely had to deal with anybody "accidentally" bumping into her and copping a feel. In school, however, hiding like that wouldn't work. She couldn't just hide her face and pretend to be invisible, as she was expected to carry herself well as a member of the Student Council. All she wanted was for the day to go by without incident. Unfortunately for the shy bookworm, fate had a different plan in store.
