Cherry’s Farewell
It was entirely possible that Scarlett and Joe had been lip-locked for over a full minute, and still, neither of them cared.
Scarlett moaned softly into his mouth. God, his lips feel even better than I imagined. They were warm, firm, and unbelievably intoxicating. Masculine, with an underlying sweetness that made her head spin and fresh heat pool low in her belly. Every brush of his mouth sent sparks racing across her skin, deeper and more addictive than she’d ever dreamed. His taste lingered on her tongue, making her pussy spasm around nothing with a sudden, unexpected ache.
She feels perfect, Joe thought, soft, warm… like she belongs there.
The kiss wasn’t just grateful. It was hungry. Possessive. Full of everything they’d both been holding back for too long.
When she finally pulled away, it wasn’t because she wanted to. Her eyes fluttered open, a flicker of awareness crossing her face as she remembered they weren’t alone.
She glanced toward the doctor, who was suddenly very interested in a clipboard that clearly held nothing of interest.
Tiffany, however, was watching openly. Still. Calm. A low smirk tugging at the corner of her mouth, arms crossed beneath her chest. Look at them, she thought, the way she’s melting into him… and the way he’s holding her. I wonder how long it’ll be before he has her bent over somewhere. The mental image sent a quiet thrill through her.
“Hell of a way to greet someone,” Tiffany teased, voice dripping with knowing amusement.
Scarlett blushed. Oh my God, I was just dry-humping him in front of my boss. She was shocked at her wondering how far they’d go if she asked for a moment. She was even more shaken when she suddenly imagined instead of Tiffany simply shoving the doctor out, maybe she’d stay to watch, or, fuck, join in. She shook the thought away. “Sorry,” she laughed breathlessly. “That’s okay, right? I didn’t… hurt him or anything?”
The doctor finally looked up, still a little flustered. “For someone who came in looking like he went toe to toe with Wolverine, no, you didn’t hurt him. His readings are remarkable.” He flicked the corner of the chart. “Never seen anyone with perfect readings. Blood pressure, weight, cholesterol… I don’t know if there’s a medical term for ‘goddamn perfect,’ but if there is, he’s what we’re looking at.”
Scarlett let out a relieved breath and pressed a soft kiss to Joe’s cheek, lingering just long enough to savor the warmth of his skin and that addictive taste still on her lips.
Tiffany leaned over the doctor’s shoulder, her expression sharpening. “No foreign markers? Nothing in his bloodwork that might raise flags?”
The doctor glanced at Joe first. When he received a small nod of permission, he continued. “All clear. We ran every test we had; pathogens, toxins; we found nothing abnormal. His white blood cell count was elevated, but after that kind of trauma? Expected. He’s clean.”
The room fell quiet for a moment, the air charged.
Tiffany tilted her head. “So you’ll be pleased to know we’ve officially hired Brooke full-time as your assistant. So you can stop paying her “bonuses” out of your own pocket.”
Joe blinked. Scarlett looked between them curiously. “Bonuses?” she asked.
Joe shrugged. “At least I told her they were bonuses. She’s worth it.”
Tiffany rolled her eyes, but her smirk softened. “I’m sure she is. She’s already tearing through your backlog and color-coding everything.”
The doctor snapped the chart closed with finality. “If you want to run additional tests at your own facility, you’ll probably have a better idea what to look for… But as far as I’m concerned…” He stepped back with a smile. “He’s cleared for discharge.”
Scarlett melted back into Joe’s arms again, hugging him tighter. Her breath hitched near his ear as relief flooded through her. She nuzzled into his neck, fingers curling into his chest like she still didn’t quite trust the world not to take him away again, breathing him in like he was the best drug in the world. “But keep an eye on him,” the doctor added as he gathered his things.
Scarlett didn’t even look up. Her eyes were locked on Joe’s, wet, clear, and full of heat, gratitude, and something deeper.
“I intend to,” she murmured.
It wasn’t just a promise. It was a vow. Her thumb stroked his jaw tenderly. Her lips brushed his cheek, then hovered near his mouth again, drawn back to that addictive taste.
“I’m not letting you out of my sight again.”
Joe smiled, pulling her closer. Neither was he.
Joe, alone now, stood shirtless, eyes scanning over his own chest. His torso looked carved from stone; refined, powerful, almost unreal. He was also sure his cock was bigger.
He slipped into the clothes his roommates had left for him. Dani, Megan, and Piper had clearly stopped by while he was sleeping. The Superman T-shirt that used to hang loose now clung to his chest and arms, the fabric stretching across new muscle.
He bent down to retrieve the rucksack and froze. Cherry’s baby-blue lace bra lay there, an artifact of their night together. He picked it up, a strange flutter in his chest.
“Knew I forgot something.” Her tone was knowing and playful.
Joe turned. Cherry stood in the doorway, arms draped on the back of a wheelchair. She wore fresh pink scrubs that still hugged her curves, hair up in a tight bun, a smirk carrying a faint flush of secret satisfaction. “I had to toss those other scrubs out. They got absolutely soaked with what we did last night.” She walked forward and plucked the bra from his fingers with a playful grin.
Joe started to explain. “Cherry… listen… about last night-”
“Last night was last night,” she said lightly, cutting him off. She bent down and handed him his bag. “Don’t get me wrong… I came harder than I ever have in my life.” Her voice dropped as she leaned closer. “So, I saw that lucky little blonde who came to see you. Cute little thing.” She took a long pause, smiling wickedly. “Don’t worry, I won’t say anything. But if she was ever down to share…” She slipped a folded piece of paper into his hand; her number scrawled with a tiny heart and a lipstick kiss. “Here’s how to find me.”
Cherry tapped the wheelchair. “Now get in, stud. Hospital protocol.” As she wheeled him out toward the exit, she pulled out her phone and handed it to him with a mischievous little smile. “Almost forgot. Thought you might want to see these.”
Joe’s mouth went dry. It was a series of photos of Cherry, completely nude in the shower, one foot propped on a ledge. Water was cascading over her flushed, glowing body. With one hand she held the phone. With the other, she spread her pussy wide open. Painted between her pink, glistening lips was a thick, pearly white load of his cum; clinging to her inner walls, thick and viscous, looking like she’d been thoroughly marked.
“You’re the first guy who ever came inside me…,” she murmured, voice velvet and heat. “…with you… I begged for it. I took a long, hot shower afterwards; almost an hour, scrubbing and rinsing every inch of myself. But I swear I can still feel it. Thick, warm… clinging deep inside my pussy like it doesn’t want to leave. Every time I move, I can still feel it. It makes me so fucking wet all over again.”
Joe stared, heart hammering. Cherry reached over and swiped to a video. On it, she was pushing two fingers inside herself, slowly pulling them out coated in his cum. It clung to her fingers like a glaze, dripping slowly as she held them up for the camera. Then she brought them to her mouth, licking them clean with satisfied hums, tongue swirling deliberately as she sucked them into her mouth. She repeated the process, savoring the taste of herself mixed with him, eyes half-lidded in pure bliss.
Joe handed the phone back, blushing. Cherry tucked it away with a wicked little grin and wheeled him out into the sunlight.
The hospital doors slid open. Warm sun hit his face like a welcome back to the world. A honk sounded.
Scarlett sat behind the wheel of her jet-black coupe, sunglasses perched on her nose, that bright, unmistakable smile lighting up her face. She waved playfully.
“There’s the lucky girl,” Cherry said as she slowed the wheelchair. Her hand lingered on Joe’s bicep, giving it a gentle squeeze.
“You take care of yourself, hero,” she said softly. “I hope I see you again sometime.”
She gave him one last wink; the kind that carried an entire night’s worth of filthy memories; before turning back toward the building.
Joe climbed into the passenger seat. Scarlett watched the nurse go, her expression curious but soft. As the automatic doors closed behind Cherry, Scarlett turned to him with a small smile.
“Who was that?” she asked, tone light and playful, one eyebrow raised.
“Nurse Cherry,” Joe cleared his throat. “She… uhh… she was there when I woke up.”
Scarlett hummed thoughtfully. “Mmmhmm.”
She didn’t push further. Joe noticed a mix of curiosity and intrigue in her eyes, paired with that soft, knowing little smile as she started the car. Her hand reached over and rested on his thigh, warm and steady. Her thumb stroked slow, lazy circles along the inside of it.
“You smell good,” she murmured after a moment, nostrils flaring subtly.
Joe glanced down at her hand on his leg. He shifted slightly in his seat, the denim growing tighter as blood stirred again.
As they pulled away from the hospital, the weight of everything settled over him. The impossible healing. The new strength in his body. The way Cherry had reacted to him. The way Scarlett’s hand felt on his thigh right now. How she seemed to know… and didn’t mind. It felt like only the beginning.
