Chapter 173
by The Other Guy
Follow Lucia's sponsor to the noble's box or just hang out back stage?
Check with Lucia
You look over to Lucia and see a subtle head nodded towards her sponsor. You get the feeling she didn't bring you here just so you can watch her perform. "I would be delighted." You say with a slight bow. "After you my Lady."
Lucia sponsor smiles broadly. "I am honored my Lord," she bows to you again then looks at Lucia, "Make me proud."
"Of course Mistress." Lucia says with another bow. Her sponsor turns and starts walking and you give Lucia a supportive smile. She winks at you and your supportive smile grows a little suspicious as you turn and follow her sponsor down another corridor.
"If my be so bold why is a Duke friends with my Lucia?" The Sponsor asks.
"I got stuck outside the academy and she helped me get through the gate." You answer. Aside from the whole Duke thing you don't see much of a reason to lie about your and Lucia's relationship, though you are going to avoid discussing Lucia's other relationship.
"She is a helpful one isn't she." The Sponsor said as she reached a staircase. She began to climb and her very short dress rode up exposing most of her ass.
You look at your feet as you climb but the image of her ass is very present in your mind. "Yes she's quite remarkable." You say to your chest.
"Wouldn't be interested in sponsoring her yourself would you? If so I may be willing to discuss terms." You are glad you noticed her sliminess earlier otherwise that would have come out of nowhere.
"No I think our friendship is best kept purely social." You say back kinda wishing you could go back to watch Lucia from back stage.
Reaching the top of the stairs you are led a short distance to a closed door which the Sponsor grabs the handle of. "Then I am glad she has made such a," she looked you and down and bites her lips, "distinguished friend." You aren't sure that is a comment purely about your physical appearance. "I'm sure we can discuss how best your, Lordship, can support her career." Yeah definitely not just about your appearance. The door opens and you walk into a booth overlooking the stage with a cluster of seats most of which are occupied. "Ladies may I present his Lordship," she looks at you expectantly and five other woman turn to look at you.
"Christopher." You say smiling at the women, all of them are about the same age as Lucia's Sponsor though none are dress quite as provocatively as her.
"Son of a Duke." The Sponsor says with a smirk. The ladies look at you and give you an assortment of My Lords.
"Delilah you've outdone yourself." One of the women says getting out of her seat to appraise you.
The Sponsor, apparently Delilah, says, "Actually this is Lucia friend."
"You've picked well with that one." The woman says as she looks you over.
"She is paying off." Delilah says. "Please take a seat Christopher." She walked into the booth and indicated a seat in the middle of everyone.
As you walk through towards the seat you feel the eyes of the woman undressing you. You're glad you didn't pick the loincloth. Sitting down several woman reach over and stroke you arms complimenting your smooth skin. Delilah sits next to you and put her hand on your thigh. You look at her more than a little shocked. Delilah doesn't look at you but her hand repositions to just below your groin.
"And here comes our Lucia." Delilah says with a slight squeeze of her hand.
The stage is suddenly lit by a bright while light and a woman that is not Lucia is standing there. "Ladies please give a most gracious welcome to tonight's performer. You may have been lucky enough to catch a glimpse of her on one of stunning shows on the street. But tonight she has something special planned. A new innovation that is sure to set your mind alight with wonder. The Motley Dragon." The woman bows and the light goes off. Good stage name for her, well accurate name for her.
"If she does disappoint, I'm sure you could find a way to help." Delilah whispers into you ear. You look at her to ask what she means when the lights come back on and Lucia is standing there.
She is posed as if firing a bow but there is no Dragon yet. She lets her hand go and her dragon shoot out along her arm. It flies out and as she beings to spin slowly on her heel, her dragon following her outstretched hand, gliding on wings a little too short it skims the heads of the audience. One reaches up to grab it and you worry for a second when the dragon spins around the grabbing hand, it's wing almost touching skin as it makes the circle and shots off even faster to fly back to the stage and perch a top Lucia's hand.
The audience was silent for a moment then a round of cheers and clapping rang out. Unlike you they hadn't been working with her for a week so they couldn't see the little errors, the scales blending as it moved, the colours getting a little blended on accident and the body stiff as it rests on her hand.
The dragon and bows to the audience then bursts back into movement spinning around her body as she begins to dance with it.
You want to keep watching but you are stopped by Delilah's hand moving higher to grope you far more overtly. She doesn't make any comment but her hand starts to knead and you find it hard to not respond.
Lucia's dragon shoots out to land on your booths edge looking at the assembled women with eyes that look impressively realistic. It flexes modeled muscles showing off scales that are now perfectly formed and coloured. The women around you let out coos at the display and Delilah rubs you a little harder. "Guess you won't be needing to improve on her performance." Now you get it.
Your eyes glare at Lucia on stage and you swear you can see her smirking at you through her dragon. Said Dragon falls backwards off the railing and towards the crows spreading wings and flying back to Lucia as she keeps dancing.
Lucia set you up and Delilah doesn't believe you are a Duke's son, she thinks you're a, well prostitute sounds better when you are calling yourself that than whore. The worst part is of it is that that belief is significantly more realistic in the situation than the other lie of you being a Duke's son. After all why would a dirty peasant be friends with someone that important.
You feel another hand on your other thigh. You look over to see the woman who had questioned your presence smiling at you. "I think there's been a misunderstanding." You say to Delilah reaching down to remove the hands.
"Down girls," Delilah says giving you hope she got the message, "My Lucia certainly only paid for one." As she finished you felt a burst of strength pushing past your hand to keep stroking you through your pants.
Well you are quite to pickle, if you stop her you can either try and sell the lie that you are totally the son of a Duke or just say you are in fact just Lucia's friend. There's a decent chance that Delilah would just laugh at the misunderstanding and that would be the end of it, but that slimy behaviour from earlier. She probably wouldn't risk the sponsorship with Lucia since she is obviously making money out of it, but if she does believe you are a prostitute and you are rejecting her in front of her friends / Mistress of Ceremonies, well embarrassment and shame are really good motivators. No matter what you are having a very serious talk with Lucia after this.
To whore or not to whore? That is the really uncomfortable question.
Reborn into Calitian
You are reborn into another world of magic and fantasy. How you live is your choice, the consequences are as well.
The world of Calitian is a world of magic whose sentient inhabitants vary from human to decidedly not. You are rather unexpectedly reborn into this world however you do not get the expected god delivered spiel about said rebirth so you are on your own. This should be interesting.
