Chapter 3 by CherryRed CherryRed

What's the first thing they do in the house?

Check that the mansion is sturdy

Tony grabbed his bag. "Before anyone goes in, I want to check that it's safe to do so."

He walked up to the front door with Peter trailing behind him. He tested the steps and the wood porch to make sure it could hold his weight, then signaled for Peter to join him. He pulled at the door, but wasn't surprised when it stayed shut.

Tony got down on his knees. "Hand me the lock picking kit and WD-40, would you?"

"Why bother locking up if you're abandoning a place?" Peter wondered, giving him what he asked for.

Tony shrugged. "I don't know either. I'm assuming the handle didn't turn because it's locked, but it's possible it's just stuck from time and lack of use." After a few minutes of work, the door was able to be opened. The hinges screeched as they moved, so Tony took care of them as well. "Yeah, that door definitely hasn't been opened in decades. I'm surprised."

Tony gave a thumbs up to their friends below, then entered the house with Peter after they put on face masks. They were greeted with a large living room. The furniture was covered in sheets and random objects. Tony wanted to air out the house, so he worked on opening the front windows while Peter took pictures of every object and feature of the room.

"I'm going to leave the furniture and cleaning to the other guys. We should probably text Earnest to put on a mask before he comes in, so his allergies don't wreck him. Aside from him, I think everyone else will be fine without one."

Peter agreed and pulled out his phone and removed his mask while Tony opened up the nearest door to another room. It was a small bathroom with a sink and toilet. And interestingly, there was a chord hanging a foot above his head. He pulled on it, and to his surprise, the light bulb it was connected to turned on.

Tony gasped and took off his face mask. "Peter! Get in here! You've got to see this!"

Peter ran in and was stunned when he saw what his friend was looking at. "But...how? This place has been abandoned for years. The electricity shouldn't be working at all!"

Tony agreed. "Right? The only thing I can figure is that when people started visiting the town, they got the electricity working as well."

Peter gasped. "What if the water works too?"

"That'd be crazy, but then again, I wasn't expecting the electricity to work either."

Tony turned on the sink and stared in amazement as brown fluid came out. He waited, and eventually it ran clear. Wondering if he was pushing his luck, Tony flushed the toilet without wanting to open the lid. Sure enough, it also worked.

"This is incredible," Peter said as he quickly added to his notes. "I thought we were going to have to find an outhouse or something. This is way better!"

Tony stared at his friend. Maybe it was from all the excitement, but he wanted to kiss Peter again so badly, consequences be damned. Peter closed his notebook and smiled at him, making him burn hotter.

He put his hand on the back of Peter's neck and drew him in for a soft kiss. Tony thought it was going to be short, but was delighted when his friend put his hand on his chest and moved his lips against his. When they pulled away a few moments later, they both knew their relationship was different.

Tony pulled back. "Let's finish up with inspecting the house. The sooner we do that, the sooner we can return to this." Peter nodded, staring at Tony's lips. Unable to resist, Tony kissed him again, then took a step back, pulling Peter out of the bathroom by his hand.

They went from room to room opening windows and taking note of the condition house. Tony gripped Peter's hand when they got to the master bedroom as he imagined them having sex there.

They eventually reached the attic. After Tony confirmed the roof was still good and the ceiling had no water damage, they both stood in front of the window, looking down at their friends below.

"This place is in such good shape. No mold, no signs of a bug infestation or animals hiding out. Compared to all the buildings down there, this one has solid walls made out of stone and is still incredibly well insulated. The poor bastard who built it really wanted to grow old here," Tony mused, taking off the gloves he had put on to inspect the window frames. "And no signs of arsenic or mercury either. That mirror we saw on the 2nd floor definitely needs to be studied. I don't know how he did it. If it weren't for the obvious signs of aging, I would think he made it last year."

"I wouldn't be surprised if this was the first building they turned into a museum," Peter agreed and helped Tony pack up his gear.

Peter stretched then wandered over to look out the window while Tony was zipping up his bag. Down below he could see his friends talking and hanging out around the car. He tried to call down to them, but they didn't seem to hear him.

Tony came up behind him and grabbed Peter's hand. Somehow, touching Peter's dick felt less intimate than holding hands with him. It filled Tony's stomach with butterflies. "Since we're something now, do you want to move on to messing with them?"

Peter frowned. "What do you mean? I don't want to see you fondling one of them."

Tony scoffed. "That's not what I meant. I mean, are you up for pulling a prank on them? We're the only people in the house right now. We could team up and do something to make them think this place is haunted."

Peter grinned. "I've got an idea."

What's Peter's idea?
