Velidina was sure that she heard the scream from up above. For some reason, she felt obligated to check it out. She didn't know why this scream was different from the others she heard, but she just felt she had to check it out. After all, upon a second glance, the door was closed. It must've just been a trick of the light.

She ran upstairs, dispersing the jutsu as she went. Her hood flew off as she ran, revealing her hair, eyes, and other facial features. When she reached the main room, burnt with some walls torn for a view of the street, she saw nobody. She turend around. The doorless doorways gave her a view of rickety stairs going up. Maybe that's where the scream was? She started to go closer to the stairs, but before she could move very far, she suddenly felt sleepy. She couldn't make sense of what was happening, and when she finally did and tried to disperse the genjutsu that was affecting her, it was too late. She slipped into unconciousness.

When she woke up, she found herself in a dimly lit room, lit only by flickering candles. From what she could make out, it seemed like the room was underground, or made from rock above ground so no light could get in. She chose the former option.

She heard a metal door squeak open, and she quickly lifted her head to the sound. She hadn't noticed a door from where she could see- oh. It must've come from behind her. She tried to turn around, but she found herself bound to a chair, her legs spread open and tied to the legs. The legs themselves were bolted to the ground, and she found her two wrists were actually touching eachother through the rope after moving it for a while.

"Oh yes, struggle. It makes me so happy that you're like that," an eerie voice called to her. "Now, what should I do to you?" the voice went on. "So many choices when you're helpless like that. But first, I'll step out into the light, just so you can see who I am." As the figure stepped out of the shadows and in front of her, she gasped at who it was. Orochimaru! Somehow, he was still alive. The number one Konohagakure wanted shinobi. "I never thought that you'd be a girl. I bet Kabuto-kun didn't either. But that makes no difference."

She heard the door close finally, and she assumed another person entered the room. She was not dissapointed when she heard another voice. "Orochimaru-sama, I caught you this person. I noticed that there were rumours of a 'haunted house' around, and I thought anybody that was able to create those rumours must be strong. I didn't think it would be a girl." Orochimaru stopped him before he could continue. "It's fine, as long as she is strong. I wonder... should I give her one of my pleasant curses, or should I do something else first. What do you think, Kabuto-kun? Should I do something to her to get **** on Tsunade?"
