Cheat!? Me!?

Cheating is the last thing you want to hear from her! You use the charging for a burst shot, remembering it could destroy grabbed Raptors but instead she only lets go. Thats something, at least. Not knowing what else to do, you dash back twice, hoping to confuse her. She tenses for a dodge on the first, but lowers her guard on the second. Double-movements throw off whatever shes doing to read your movements, huh?

Cheating, eh...?

You fly in quickly again just above her and Zafra seems unimpressed. Just before you get too close to be counter-attacked by her, you dash up twice in rapid succession then do the same downward. Strafing first left, then right, then repeating both in turn. Her Frame's eyes seem to be just a step behind you so you press the advantage and unleash a burst attack.

It hits! Zafra's Frame is hurled back.

"What did you do," she asks irritated. "Why couldn't I read you!?"

"Back home they call it 'The Konami Code'," you say proudly. Its good to be from reality.

"Clever," she says coldly, crossing her Frame's arms. "I usually don't need to do this, but I think I'll show you Vetala's real power." The Frame, Vetala apparently, raises it's arms and moves the hands in that same fluid non-pattern. Groaning metal and the buzz of electricity below you catches your ear and you look down. Half-LEVs and more are crawling forward, reaching for weapons. They move like their parts have long since rusted but some will is forcing them to break through it and move once again. The overlapping screeches of metal sound like something between a massive flock of hawks and ghosts. The lighted eyes have not turned on but they are moving, almost as if....

"Yes," Zafra confirms your theory. "This is Vetala's power. You may have gotten one hit in on me. But can you defeat a million zombie LEVs?"
