Chase And Safety

You hold onto Amelia tightly and dash down the sidewalk. Keiko is behind you holding onto Sarah's hand almost dragging her along with how fast she is moving.

"Shit!" You curse as you spot a black car speeding towards you up the road.

"Through the yard!" Amelia points to the side at one of the houses.

Quickly all of you rush past the gate surrounding the house and stumble through some of the green hedges before running along the side of the house to get to the backyard.

The dog from a house over begins to bark loudly at all of you. "Shhhh!!!" Sarah puts a finger to her lips trying to shut the dog up only to be silenced herself by Keiko pulling her.

Running out from the backyard and into the small back alleyway that runs through the houses you look both ways first. A black car drives into view from the left side so you immediately begin to run towards the right.

"How're we going to lose them!?" Keiko says not at all out of breath and keeps up with you.

"S-Should we call the cops!? I-I don't know what's happening!" Sarah says trying to keep up entirely out of breath.

"Amelia! Call Ameko!" You say about to reach the end of the alleyway.

"A-Ameko!?" She says unsure of the decision.

"Just do it-" You say as a car pulls up right in front of you at the end of this alleyway, except it's not a black car, it's a pink and white one. Confusion displayed on your face you come to a sliding stop. Keiko does too, almost running into you from behind.

The windows roll down and sitting there is Ameko. Your sister still with messy bed hair waves at you all with a smug smile.

"Heeey!~ Look at who it is! Wanna get in?" She says right before the screeching of the black car stops behind you all.

"Quick, inside!" You say letting Amelia down and opens the door for her and the others. One after the other they all get in. They all squeeze together trying to make room for you as you come around to try and get in.

Before you even try to lower yourself to sit a glimmer of light catches your eye. A familiar loud BANG hits the air, a gunshot, but one much more soft sounding as if it's being muffled.

"Jun!!!" The girls scream out as you're impacted by a wave of something and bounce off the car onto the ground. You glance back at the black car and a woman with long dark hair wearing a sci fi glowing mask aims a large pulsating rifle at you from the hood.

"What the fuh-!?" You say having the wind absolutely knocked out of you.

"Get in the FUCKING car!" Keiko grabs you by the arm and yeets you into the vehicle before getting in again. There is another loud bang in the air as Ameko puts pressure on the pedal and the car dodges the incoming shot. Everyone in the back seat duck into the cushions all squished together.
