Chapter Three Done!

Hey There,

And that's a wrap on Chapter Three! I really hope you enjoyed it and you're excited for what's coming up next, I know I am!

Chapter Four is going to start on February 6th, to give me some time to plan and prep and also to let the poll for the dress stay open for a little while longer. Just in case you've missed the link at the bottom of a bunch of chapters and the repeated mentions of it, there is a poll open to help Emily decide which kind of dress she's going to wear to the party tonight. She narrowed down the decision to either a sultry and sexy little black dress or a sweet but not entirely wholesome sundress. I wanted to give you readers the chance to decide which option they think she'd choose.

I'll tell you right now the results are incredibly close so every last vote can absolutely make difference!

The final choice will be revealed with the launch of Chapter Four, with the title of the chapter and the chapter image making it explicitly clear which side won. You don't have long to wait, but be sure to vote!

I hope you've been enjoying the story so far. We've had some steamy scenes and more than a bit of character development, as well as the introduction of most of the main characters I've planned for the story. I think it's coming along quite well, but I'd love to hear what everyone thinks of it, whether through comments on the chapters or in the forum post I set up!

At this point in the story I think Emily is still a little unsure. She's a bit overwhelmed by the massive change and the opportunity but hasn't quite grasped the fullness of the chance in front of her yet. Ultimately I think she's probably more than a little scared, as anyone would be with this happening to them. Sure, she wasn't happy in her previous life but she was content and used to it and having that all turned on its head means that she's overwhelmed. I think she probably recognizes she wasn't happy with the way things turned out in her first timeline, but isn't quite open to accepting the changes she's experienced. Not yet at least.

But that will come in time, as will the explorations of her new life and especially her new body. Bit by bit her walls are breaking down and the ending of Chapter Three I think represents that a bit. She's started investigating the possibilities of pleasure with her new form and that will lead, in time, to a broadened perspective on things. It's only a matter of time now before she fully opens up and is ready to experience love, life, and more in her new body.

Anyways that's all a little philosophical, but maybe it helps give a bit of insight into where I think she's at and where I think she's heading. Rest assured you're going to see some examples of that very shortly. She's not done trying to get home yet, but she's soon going to realize that maybe she's not feeling the draw of it quite as much as she used to.
