Chapter 9 Princess Lin
The little magic caster’s words shook Link, making him understand his situation a bit better. While Peach’s profile had been removed from him, his own was still off with the actual Peach. “Could I, umm I get something to wear?” Leaving… escaping had been his goal for a while now, but nothing wearing a shred of clothing was leaving the young man red in the face from embarrassment. He was mostly addressing the magic caster but would be happy to accept a resolution to his predicament from either.
Snorting, Bowser waved his hand in Link’s direction to dismiss him. The pale elf using both hands to cover himself seemed like the lesser punishment for pretending to be his Peach. “Begone from my castle and my lands, I have no use for you.” Bowser’s baritone voice grumbled before his attention moved to the unattached profile of Princess Toadstool. He had scheme after scheme on how to achieve his goals and was sure he could figure out something to do with what was pulled out of the now dismissed boy. “Kamek, I think I have an idea what to do with this.” the Koopa King said, waving his hand in the direction of the pink light. “Prepare my troops to capture the Princess soon as she comes home.”
The dismissal had been so complete that Link felt like the shelled monster had practically forgotten his existence the moment he had turned away. Without any clothing he tried to think what he could do to find something to wear. The turtle men wore shoes, if he ran into another wizard that wasn’t next to Bowser it could give him something to wrap around his waist… There were even some tapestries he could try and grab on his way out. Link thought as he took a few steps backwards before turning around to leave the room. It was when Link heard the overgrown monster talk about **** a Princess that his feet stopped. He didn’t have all his memories from what happened before his hundred-year slumber when he woke up in that cave, but one he had reclaimed was that he was supposed to be the protector of Princess Zelda… he was supposed to be her knight, sworn to protect her and the land. Princess Peach was not his Princess and these were not his lands, but it touched a cord that he found himself acting upon before his mind caught up.
Link’s bare feet slapped on the hard ground as he dashed towards the villain before him, all thoughts on his current nudity forgotten. Running directly at the spiked shell of the ten foot two koopa was not the best of ideas by the unarmed Link who was shorter by a solid five feet, but before any such collision could occur he shifted his momentum by dropping to the ground and rolling twice and popping up right in front of Bowser, using all the strength he could to connect his fist with the creature’s jaw. Link was never a brawler, he used weapons, items, leaving his hand throbbing from the attack. Still, he saw Bowser stagger back half a step, making him feel as if he had a chance, or at least half a chance. “I can’t let you keep **** her.”
How powerless… helpless he had felt when tried up. Not only was it his job to stop such behavior he now knew what it felt like. Shaking his hand from punching the sturdy man… koopa, Link looked around for an actual weapon. The little wizard had backed away in a hurry, making his wand not much of an option, though Link did see one of the lightly glowing question mark boxes that held either a gold coin or some sort of powerup.
‘Maybe with one of those red and white mushrooms I could match his strength…’ Link thought, knowing that with it doubling his height he would be all of two inches taller than the Koopa King. ‘A star would be so much better.’ He mentally added, knowing there were so many more options of things that could be in there, but he hadn’t experienced them for himself or the knowledge of them without Peach’s profile.
Turning to make a dash for the box, hoping against hope he would not find a useless coin. Though any thoughts of the box or anything other than pain vanished when a fist almost the size of his torso slammed into him from behind, sending the naked hylian fly past the pink glowing profile and the question mark box and colliding with the wall. Sliding to the ground, Link touched the side of his head, feeling as if the world was spinning.
“YOU DARE STAND UP TO ME!” Bowser roared loud enough to make his voice reverberate off the walls. In a calmer state he would be able to respect such a move by a warrior so out classed, without any armor or weapons, but at the second the Koopa King only saw red. “I’m going to show you that you have never truly known the meaning of the word pain. Then I am going to lock you in a cage so that all can see what happens to those that stand in my way.”
Using the wall for support, Link got back to his feet, blinking a few times to try to keep the world from spinning. ‘Not done, just need to…’ Link took a few stumbling steps in the direction of the box, part of him thinking how stupid it was for him to even leave home to go to Brawl instead of working on saving Zelda. How stupid it was to attack Bowser, this wasn’t his place, he wasn’t this realms hero. Still he took another wobbling step, touching the block as he glared at the spike shelled monster. “I’m not afraid of you.” Link pushed up hard on the block as he reminded himself how much he had already accomplished back home and how he had much more to do.
Pushing up on the block caused a small golden crown with a mostly pink puffy fabric inside to come out. It wasn’t a power up that should have been there, but the presence of the unattached Princess profile had warped the magic of the box. Not knowing what the crown did, other than knowing it was supposed to be a power up, Link took hold of it feeling a light warmth fill his body as he changed.
It all happened in a fraction of a second and yet at the same time Link’s mind could see and feel every change as he grew in height to five foot nine, his waist drew in, hips widened and chest went from a toned male chest to something softer, rounder with D cup breasts. His male equipment between his legs pulled into his body as things internally shifted as well. Link’s hair lengthened and styled itself into an exact match to Princess Peach’s in style, though it remained Link’s own hair color, much like it had been when her profile was inside of him. If anyone had seen Link in that exact moment, they would see a naked Peach with a slightly darker skin tone and hair, with eleven pointed ears and a toned muscled body.
Things were moving too quickly for Link to have any thoughts on the changes to his body other than knowing he went from a he to a her and after her body had finished changing, she got a matching outfit for her style. While Peach’s Profile had changed many things it hadn’t actually changed much at all about him other than trying to make the man more like Peach mentally. The super crown made Link like Peach in body, but enhancing what was already there and what was already there deep in Link’s code was the hero of Hyrule, the hero of the wild. The first to appear was her panties, brown lace boyshorts with a little white bow, followed by a high collared white corset shirt that laced in the front that gave an appealing plunging neckline and white stay up stockings that came to mid-thigh. Then she gained a dark green tunic dress that just covered her stocking stops, the dress was paired with knee high brown leather boots with four-inch block heels, long brown gloves that went up past the elbow. The last pieces to appear were tri-**** dangling earrings, a sturdy Hyrulian shield and a familiar sword on her back.
Blinking heavily the Hylian looked out at this world through a dark curtain from her long thick mascara covered eyelashes as she understood what had all happened. No longer were they Link they were Lin, the heroine of the wild. Pulling the master sword from it’s scabbard her red lips formed a tight-lipped smile as she looked over at the villain of this word. The super crown making her a mix of herself… himself and Peach made sense. It also would have been something she… he would be freaking out over, thought that must be part of the magic. She had her strength back, something was still missing internally, but she had what she needed to fight. No longer did she feel pain from the attack and no longer did she feel intimidated by him. Taking a practice swing with her sword she could tell its strength; it was something shallower than the master sword even if it looked exactly like it. The sword and shield were born from the magic of the crown and the memory of who she was.
