You didn’t even have to bring up the KDK to remember the status you were currently thinking of and the thought of Grace having to choose her words was something you didn’t think she would have done previously.

It had been a passive that had probably helped you in more ways than you could count but Grace’s instinct to tell Emma they shouldn’t have kissed seemed to have been stopped and you could see her change whatever she had been about to say as if she had just realised it herself.

“We…I don’t think other people would understand if we were doing things like this” Grace said, her own feelings of the kiss not included.

“Max doesn’t mind, right?” Emma said, including you back into the conversation that had been taking place right on your lap.

Grace blushed as she realised the two of them had ignored you but Emma’s eyes lit up as if this had been the greatest thing that had ever happened to her and even you hadn’t expected the both of you to make so much progress with Grace so soon.

“I don’t see anything wrong with it. I don’t think anyone in my family would either.” you added, knowing your subjects wouldn't mind with the passive in effect.

You could have mentioned Rebecca in that list but randomly adding her in would probably just confuse Grace as to why you mentioned her name, instead leaving her out even if she was a main subject in your eyes.

“Well I know you wouldn’t mind it… And you clearly seemed to enjoy it” Grace replied, casually reaching down between her and Emma to give your cock a quick squeeze.

“I think Max is right but sweetie, it’s everyone else I’m worried about. I don’t think people will understand if they see us doing… Well anything out of the ordinary together” Grace continued, and as much as you didn’t want to, you had to admit that she was right about that.

The KDK could only affect people you had come into contact with and it did have restrictions, something you had no way of changing in the foreseeable future. You were sure Emma knew that as well so an idea came to mind that you knew she would agree on if she was thinking along the same lines as you.

“I think Grace is right. As much as I like the idea of the two of you out together doing things like this in public there's a risk there that I don’t think any of us want to take. When you are home or even at the hotel though, I don’t think there's a need to hold yourself back when there is no risk of anyone interrupting” you explained, seeing Emma’s lips curl upwards into a smile as she looked in your direction and then her focus returned to her mother when they looked at each other again.

“Yeah I can agree to being super cautious when we are out” Emma added, phrasing it to not say she would stop completely.

Grace looked between you and Emma a few times as if she was trying to see if this was some ploy she hadn’t figured out but from her perspective and with some help from the passive effect, there was nothing that popped out to her.

“Okay then, if you are both okay with it then I guess the two of us can be closer as a family. You know I’ve already seen Max and Mary doing something similar but it might take me some time to adjust to that level of…intimacy between us” Grace revealed, smiling when she saw how happy that seemed to make her daughter.

Emma immediately leaned in for another kiss and you watched the two of them make out in a scenario that blew your mind. You could see how happy it made Emma and while there was no doubt in your mind about originally revealing the KDK to Emma, seeing her now told you how important it had been in both your and her happiness.

Grace did put an end to it quickly though and they parted, Grace holding a finger up to Emma’s lips to stop her.

“I did just tell you about being careful in public” Grace warned, bringing you and Emma back to the fact that you were still in a public parking garage where anyone could look in if they really wanted to.

Emma pouted but she didn’t resist as Grace moved out of her grasp. Instead, Grace moved Emma to sit straddling you while she sorted her clothes and got out of the car, giving you only a brief moment alone while Grace walked round to get into the driver's seat.

“I’m so fucking happy right now you wouldn’t believe it. Thank you so much!” Emma said, kissing you without letting you reply as you heard the driver door open and close.

“Careful with that thing by the way” Grace said, gesturing towards your erection that was now closer to Emma with her sat hovering over your lap.

As much as you wanted to deal with the problem you had, to stay on Grace’s good side you tucked yourself back into your jeans even if it was slightly uncomfortable. Emma took that as a sign that she could now fully sit in your lap which made it that much harder to not start grinding against her but you did enjoy having her close to you without being worried that Grace would split you up.

Emma was now essentially hugging you while she sat there and you saw Grace gave you a smile when she saw that Emma was comfortable where she was before directing a question at you.

“Well where are we heading to next? That might be a bit of a more serious topic but I don’t think any of us want to spend the rest of the day in this parking garage” Grace asked you, knowing the trip to the shopping mall had only been a detour.

“Let me check something quickly,” you replied, pulling out your phone and checking your father’s location.

You checked the KDK, which Grace assumed was just a tracking app, and as far as you could tell he was still at the bar.

From your use of the beholder effect you didn’t think you had the need to go back to the bar but you also had no way of saying that to Grace without it being suspicious that you suddenly gave up on the trip. You could however, head somewhere else if you had a good enough reason or you could spend more time with Emma and Grace if you wanted to put off the decision for later.

One option however seemed to stick out to you more than the other.
