Change the subject!

Thinking frantically, Naruto decided on the perfect way to distract her - and to pass the time until they need to be in Iruka-Sensei's classroom.

"Mizuki-Sensei had me borrow a scroll from Hokage-Jiisan. After I learned a couple jutsu from it, Iruka-Sensei and the Old Man couldn't refuse his recommendation that they make me a Genin," he exclaimed with a foxy grin. "Still, I should probably have someone help me train with my new jutsu so I can beat Sasuke-Teme and become Hokage that much faster. Wanna give me a hand with that, Hinata?"

Immediately blushing a beet red and poking her fingers together, Hinata looks at the ground before nodding quickly and muttering, "O-okay, Naruto-Kun."

"Great! Let's go!" With that, Naruto quickly grabbed Hinata's arm and began running to a nearby training ground to begin.
