Change the World

Deciding that he could stand to go big or go home, Alex brought the pencil to the Rulebook, intent on testing the Rulebook to the very extent of what he could think of. Taking some inspiration from a certain anime that he enjoyed in its initial seasons, he began to write.

Old Rule: Every living vertebrate on planet Earth has a 75 percent chance to be born with a superpower of varying strength. The weakest powers being in the range of changing eye color, and the strongest being in the range of changing the weather with a single punch. Sapient creatures are more likely to get stronger powers.

Setting down his pencil, Alex felt the world shift around him. He clutched his head, a feeling of nausea mixed with a brewing headache forcing him to close his eyes against the strain. After a few seconds, the warping of the world ceased, and Alex could open his eyes.

He had to blink at his room once the world finished changing, slowly standing and looking around his room with confusion. Because his room certainly wasn’t this… girly, before.

Taking a step towards his bed, the mattress covered in purple sheets and a lot more pillows than he remembered, he felt something shift on his chest. Freezing, he looked down and saw a pair of tits.

“What the fuck.” He… She stated monotonously. A surge of memory overtook her, the differing stories clashing in her mind, causing her to groan at both the sudden information influx and the state of events that led to this.

Apparently, her father had been born with the power to select which genes he passed down to his offspring. And her father, being the youngest of three brothers, decided that he only wanted girls once he got married.

Alex shook her head, focusing back on the present. She looked back to the Rulebook, sitting innocently on her desk and still opened to the page that held the lines that changed her entire life story. Shuddering, she noted her test as complete. The Rulebook definitely worked.

Heading back to the book, she was intent on erasing the lines and setting everything back to how it was before so that she find out ways to use the Rulebook more effectively. Unfortunately, she was interrupted when a shout sounded from downstairs.

“Alexandra! Come down, lunch is ready!”

Alex froze, her hand hovering over the Rulebook, pencil in hand and ready to erase. A dilemma played out in her mind, one that could have consequences for her in the long run.

Did she set everything back to the way it was before. Or… did she see what this changed world had to offer?
