Chapter 11 by D!$N3Y D!$N3Y

So... What's the plan tomorrow?

Change into something more fitting for Princess Jasmine

Sunrise seemed to come a bit earlier in Aladdin's mind; sunlight beamed into his suite and shined in his face, waking him. He stretched his bare arms while yawning. Carpet was up too, and he flew around and around his human friend to get his attention. "Alright, Carpet. Alright," he replied, rubbing his eyes. "What is it?" Carpet pointed to himself, to Al and then to outside. "You want to go with me today?" he asked, only to get a thumbs-up in reply. "All right, then." His Magic Carpet gave a silent 'hooray!' Abu then chattered a lot to get Al's attention, lifting his fez up and bouncing his eyebrows. "You too, Abu?" he interpreted. Abu nodded, climbing up onto his shoulder. "OK, buddy." Carpet manipulated his woven self to form steps that Al walked up on and stood tall. Before he took off, Aladdin took another good look at himself. "I better dress appropriately for the princess." He had his belt glow red faintly, and his appearance morphed from his regular attire to Prince Ali's clothing: a large turban (with what appears to resemble neck shade coming down on opposite sides) complete with a ruby gem and purple feather, cream undergarments and a matching top, with a purple-and-cream cape flowing down, just below his calves. The outfit is finished with golden brown shoes, with swirled tips. And the best part was... He hid the Infinity Sash underneath his garments. "Now, let's get things right." Carpet then flew him outside and towards the palace.

Jasmine had come out to her balcony to look over the city when he spotted someone flying over the city. 'Who could that be?' she wondered, leaving from sight. He approached the door and addressed the guards, whom asked of his business, that he wished to talk to Princess Jasmine and the Sultan. The doors opened from the inside, and he was greeted by Sultan.

"Greetings, good sir. And, uh... Who are you?" he asked. 'Ali' bowed as he descended Carpet.

"Your Majesty, I am Aladdin. I have journeyed to ask for your daughter's hand in marriage." Jasmine was nowhere to be seen at first, and he knew he could make Jasmine like him with any of the Gems, but he wanted to earn her love. Correctly.

"Prince Aladdin! I am delighted to meet you," Sultan replied happily, shaking his hand with both of his small ones. "And this is my Royal Vizier, Jafar," he introduced, gesturing to the tall, dark, evil man behind him. "He's delighted too."

"Ecstatic..." the Vizier replied dryly. "But I'm afraid, Prince A-Lad-In-Over-His Head, that you cannot just descend like a god and expect the Princess to marry you that easily." Aladdin was starting to fume inside, not only from Jafar's interference in his plan, but that nothing would make him happier than to prove him wrong. But he tried to keep his emotions in check and remember to earn, not claim, the fair Jasmine's affections.

So what's Aladdin to do? Show Jafar up or just show his true strength?
