Championship Game: Leah uses her drive to call Jonathan (Luck: -10, Suspicion: -5)

The championship game was a bit far away so she had some time as she drove. She decided to give Jonathan a call and talk to him on her drive. It was some just fun chit chat, but she knew it would bring them closer together. She smiled as he picked up the call

"Hey babe, it's me!" she said sweetly as she settled into her car, switching on the Bluetooth mode.

"Hey beautiful, what's up?" Jonathan's voice sounded bright and cheerful on the other end of the line.

"I just wanted to tell you that I decided to go to the Championship game after all. I mean, why not show some school spirit, right?" she said, trying to sound as genuine as possible.

"Oh…I see. Well it was going to be date night.” Jonathan’s voice was disappointed.

“I know babe.” Leah said trying to console him. “Look—its the Championship game. I gotta support the school.”

“True.” Jonathan sighed. “It’s not like you get a championship game all the time I guess.” While he was disappointed he loved her and wanted to support her. “I'm really proud of you for supporting your school’s team. I know its partly because you are trying to get tenure too" Jonathan couldn't help but tease her a little bit.

“Awww thanks babe.” She gushed with love for this man.

“Gonna be in late tonight?” He asked.

“Yeah its a pretty good drive and the game will take a while. So don’t wait up.” Leah comforted him.

“Well I hope y’all make it a shut out!” He chuckled.

"Sshh... don't jinx it!” she joined him in good fun.

The two talked for a good portion of her ride until her gps on her phone showed she had finally arrived.

“Okay babe, I am parking. Love you lots.” she said making a kissing sound toward the phone.

“Love you too. See you tonight. Drive safe.” he replied as they ended their call.
