Nia: Ahh~! R-Rina waah~! Waaait! Lemme get th-ugh~! Uh! Ohhh~!

Nia’s cries rang through the hallway as I swapped the laundry from the washer to the drier. From the sounds of it, Rina had finally decided to give Nia what she wanted. I smiled to myself as I listened to them. It really was a treat to hear the noises Nia made when she was getting worked up.

Nia: Riiiinaaa stoooop! Augh~! Rina! ~Aaahhhh god~! Nooo~! Not that spot! Ohhhhhh~! Rina I’m gonna die~! I’m gonna die! I’m dying~!

I walked back into the living room, having finished the load, just in time to see Nia’s character die on the screen to a group of multicolored creatures. She stretched out across the couch with her legs folded against her torso, meanwhile the offending murderer in question was nestled under Nia. Nia puffed out her cheeks in a pout, before grabbing the controller and trying her best to power through it. I couldn’t help but laugh at her pigheadedness; I always loved how stubborn and petulant Nia could be at times like these.

Nia flipped me the bird as she continued trying her damnedest to beat the encounter. She was just too adorable.

I was tempted to join them, but there were a couple more things that needed to be done around the house first. If I didn’t get to them, then Nia wouldn’t truly be able to relax and enjoy her special weekend.

I took a deep breath and resolved myself. It was basically like edging, right? It would just make everything later all the more sweet.
