Carrie tells you about shopping with Maud

It’s after six by the time you hear the front door open. You’ve been lying on the couch watching Netflix and trying to take your mind off how long Carrie has been away. She comes into the living room carrying a number of shopping bags, one with the logo from the yoga clothing store that she likes, but the others with no indication of where they are from.

“I’m going to take these through and put them away,” she says. “We’re not going to open them just now. Give me a second.”

She breezes out of the room and you can hear her putting things away in the next room. Then you hear her go to the kitchen and the tap running. A moment later she comes back into the living room with a glass of water in her hand.

You’re standing now and you take her in your arms and give her a hug.

“You ok?” you whisper in her ear. She nods. “You sure? You were away a long time.”

“Absolutely. I’m fine. I’ve just had quite a lot to process. Give me a couple of minutes and come through to the bedroom. I’ll tell you all about it.”

You kiss her on the forehead and let her go and she leaves the room.

You give her a few minutes and then go through to the bedroom. She’s in bed under the sheet. You take off most your clothes and climb into bed beside her.

“Hold me,” she says. “And I’ll tell you the story.”

She rolls on one side and you pull her into you so her back is against your chest and her ass is tucked into your lap. You can smell her conditioner and her hair tickles your face.

“Tell me about the shop,” you say.

“It’s not that far from here, but if you didn’t know exactly where it was you would never find it. There’s no signage or nameplate, just a number on the door to what looks like a lock up. You press a buzzer and someone lets you in.

“Inside it has an industrial theme, but very upscale, like they’re selling expensive exercise equipment like Peletons. There’s a reception desk where you check in and two main parts to the store, ‘retail’ and ‘experience’ clearly marked out.

“Maud took me to ‘retail’ first, as she said I might not be up to it after. She also said something about priming me for what was to come.

“The retail section was arranged around themes. I’d expected a male and a female section, but Maud said it was never that simple. There were selections of toys, clothes and equipment as you’d imagine, including some things I’d never seen or heard of before.

“Maud talked me through many of the items explaining what they were for and the best way to use them. It was good that she’s seen you close up as she was able to advise on size. I’d have probably got that wrong.”

“Nothing too large I hope,” you say.

“Babes, everything started at large and went up in size. The only thing not in a large was a cock cage. It started at medium and went down in size. You’re going to hope I didn’t get you one of those based on Maud’s description of how to use it.

“After we’d taken a tour of the merchandise we picked up a trolley and started selecting what to get. It was like the weirdest supermarket experience ever. ‘Dildos in aisle three need restocked!’ I’m not going to tell you what we bought, that’s going to stay a surprise for now.

“We ended up with quite a haul. It was good Maud was there to help as she reminded me to pick up things like accessories, but also she suggested things I might not have thought of getting. We went to pay and the girl at the desk said she would box and wrap everything to be ready for our departure.

“Then we went to the other part of the store - ‘experience’.”
