“Um, okay I guess.”

“Now, the only thing left to do is get you a room and get you settled. Sadly we only have three spots left, and we are lucky to have these. The next two girls are going to have to take whatever you leave for them. The first option is room 402 in the dorm. Your roommate would be Samantha. She is a music major, a singer. She might be a good choice. She has quite the look. Heck, I’ve witnessed her wearing ripped jeans much like yours. You are both highly creative and I’m sure she would love to have her picture taken. Second we have Tiffany, her original roommate dropped out after only three days. She is very quiet, has quite the gothic influence, she is studying religion and history. In her case you would be in the Garrick house, it has 4 rooms, 2 bathrooms on the second floor and the 8 students then all share the downstairs, living and dining areas. Last is Vanessa, not who I would normally suggest for a creative type as yourself. She is a track superstar, with a political science major, I think she intends to be a politician, but her primary focus is on sports. Her room is actually quite impressive, not normally offered to scholarship students, it is a one and a half bedroom apartment, you would have the loft space above her bedroom. Sadly that is the only other opening we have. Her first roommate was injured and left the school or hers wouldn’t be open either. Well, what do you think?”

Pick Samantha, Tiffany, or Vanessa? Or do you point out that you are a man? It’s not impossible that they have gender neutral housing, right? Just a coincidence that all three are girls.
