California Beauty Pageant

Three events halls in the California Grand Community Mall for the annual California Girl: Pretty & Pink Beauty Pageant. It was a two day event that brought over many people from all over the country. Each hall that were apart of the event had a specific purposes.

The Third Hall is filled with sponsors inducing their own products. Fashion companies showing off the new summer look. Cosmetics companies giving away samples and selling their latest products. And the most successful store the Pink Princess were giving a Open Salon experience where anyone can see you becoming the best version of yourself.

The Second Hall are reserved to the people of the community. Most of the space were for local women hobby/ sports clubs like basketball, volleyball, gardening, cooking, and etc. Others offered support groups of all the modern women. But the main event here were the successful women who were giving motivating lectures.

The First Hall is where the beauty contest was being held. Hosting three separate contest divided by on the age of the competitors. The Miss(Ages 18-30) started at 8 pm, the Teen Girl(Ages 13-17) started at 5 pm, and the Little Princess(Ages 10-12) is starting at 1 pm. It is a proud competition for young women and girls dedicated to fashion, makeup, beauty, ladylike elegance, feminine pride, and most importantly CONFIDENCE.

“Of course Gwen would be the one to have come here” Ben said to himself.

Currently in the First Hall, everywhere Ben looks he saw cameramen, journalists, and anyone else who was interested in the beauty contest here. Apparently this was a big event that happened yearly. And this year was extra special cause who ever wins will be put on the cover of the Young & Fashionable Girls magazine modeling special dress tailored maid for them.

“Why would people care about this stuff anyway” Ben said with a grumpy expression and his hands on his pocket. He didn't even notice that his VIP Pass was misspelled.
