Cain and Abel

Having forgiven Adam (mostly) after he cooked the first meat with the first fire, Eve agreed to let Adam know her and beget two sons, Cain and Abel.

God wasn't lying when he said sorrow in her conceptions! Not only did pregnancy hurt, but her expanding belly cost her her deerskin clothes. And she wouldn't be soon dressed again - deer came around only so often, and there was only enough skin to clothe Adam and the sons, not Eve. Even when Abel took up cattle herding, the family ate the skin as cattle rinds and didn't use them for clothing. So, the only thing Eve had were the two puny citron trees grown by Cain. The trees' leaves were just enough to cover Eve's breasts, pussy, and asscrack for the rest of the year when fruiting season came. Eve always felt weird being so exposed compared to the rest of the family, but true to her curse never brought it up to any of them.

One day, Eve was minding her own business when Cain came up and yanked her leafwear off!

"Cain!" Eve gasped as she covered herself with her hands, "Why did you do that?!"

"Sorry, Mom," Cain shrugged as he wrapped a few citrons in what Eve had been wearing, "me and Abel are going to make some offerings to God!"

"Alright, then," Eve sighed in maternal acquiescence, wondering how she was going to clothe herself until next year, "have fun!"

The two brothers went up to God with their offerings.

"Abel, what hast thou?" God asked.

"The firstborns of my cattle," Abel replied, "and their fat!"

"Delicious!" God smiled, "I cannot wait for the filet mignon tonight! And thou, Cain, what hast thou?"

"Citrons wrapped in their leaves!" Cain beamed as he handed them to God.

God's face fell. "Cain, thou art certainly aware that these grow on trees of a literal sort," he began, "surely this cannot pass as an offering," he let them fall to the ground as Cain yelled in anger and stomped his foot.

"What is thy problem?" God gasped a little, "if thou doest well, shalt thou not be respected? And if thou doest evil, it is on thee to prevent sin from taking over thy life and ruling thee."

With that, the two brothers left and started their walk back home.

"I'm sorry about what happened, man," Abel tried to console his brother.

"It's alright," Cain lied through his teeth as his resentment lingered, "here, let's see what's in this field."

With that, Cain led his brother into the field and did away with him.

As Cain was walking back from the field, God's voice boomed at him.

"Cain, where is thy brother?"

"Sounds like a problem for his keeper," Cain shrugged.

"Thinkest thou that I am stupid?" God began, "Thy brother's blood cries unto me; no more shall the earth open herself for thee, thorns and thistles only shall it give thee henceforth, and thou shalt be a fugitive and a vagabond therefrom!"

"Wait, no no no!" Cain protested, "Everyone's gonna kill me if they see me!"

"Fear not," God acquiesced, "for I put this mark upon thee: if Cain be touched by a man vengeance shall be taken on him sevenfold, and if he be touched by a woman her raiment shall be rent asunder!"

Cain was relieved at this mark, and intrigued on how to use it for women, as he began his wanderings.

Eve looked around and couldn't find anything to clothe herself after Cain had taken her clothes. So, for the first time in her life, she knelt down and put her hands together to pray to God.

"God," she began, "I know we ate that fruit we weren't supposed to and you're still mad at me, but please cover me as you cover my sons and husband so I don't have to deal with..." she took her hands apart and waved to her nude body, "this!"
