But what about the ice cream?

"I was..." Penny trailed off, then suddenly let out a cute little snort-laugh. "I was giving you a handy!"

Matt nodded and she stared at her hand in amazement. "I didn't even think about it."

"So you didn't notice?" he asked. She nodded.

"Yeah. I mean, no. I don't know, it just feels so good when someone else is showing me what to do. It's like my body knows to just do whatever because I'm checked out a lot of the time."

"Is it like that when you're given verbal commands?"

Verbal commands? "Oh, yeah, like when you tell me what to do. I dunno, wanna try it?"

"Go get me some ice cream," he commanded with a smirk.

"Sure," she said agreeably and immediately left the room. He called her back immediately.

"Hmm?" she said as she re-entered the bedroom. Matt noticed that her nipples were standing out prominently in the slightly cool air of their apartment. She stood swaying in front of him, as though listening to a song only she could hear.

"How did that feel?" he asked.

"How... oh, you said to get you ice cream! I was just doing it, not thinking about it. Like brushing your teeth or whatever. Do you want ice cream?"

"Not right now," he said with a laugh. "Do you remember why we were talking about ice cream?"

Penny searching her memory with visible effort. "Oh! You were gonna make me eat ice cream before I gave you that handjob! Do you still wanna?"

"You were trying to figure out why it's bad to eat ice cream," he reminded her.

"Wait, it is?" she asked with genuine surprise. "I keep forgetting. Eating ice cream seems completely fine to me."

"It is!" he said. "I tricked you, Pen. There's nothing bad about eating ice cream."

"Wow..." she muttered. "You know, I think I'm still getting dumber. I can barely remember what we're talking about."

"Yeah," he said with amusement. "You're pretty fucking stupid, Penny."

She burst out laughing at that and Matt frowned. "What's so funny?"

"You were so proud you tricked me!" she told him. "But I'm a simpleton!"

Matt responded by reaching over and tweaking both of her nipples. She twitched a little but her expression remained fixed. "You sure are," he said. "Now go actually get me some fucking ice cream."
