Bunny Hop?

The world stretches around you, like you're attempting to pull and burst through a bubble of space itself to pierce straight to Castle Phoenix, though this time, said bubble is taking longer to pop. It's like you're pulling on an elastic band, waiting for it to snap, but it won't. After a moment, your body can't take the strain any longer. Suddenly, you snap straight back again, landing with a painful thud in the bushes right behind Vraelion Estate. You're outside now, though you have no idea what just happened. You stand and brush yourself off, as do the others.

Malakae pulls a twig from her hair. She still looks quite frantic. "My father... His estate projects a magical barrier which disrupts teleportation. It keeps intruders out, but also traps people in. I don't know how far it extends, but if you can do that again, Kyle, we must gain some distance first. Quickly now. That strike did not kill him... whatever that was," she says as she turns her eyes to Eva.

"I'll explain later," Eva says, wiping her lips. "But that was really yummy," she mutters to herself.

"Wh-What did you just say?"

The back door suddenly flies open. It's Lord Vraelion already, though his clothing is worn around the point of impact, and his hair is frazzled. He looks exhausted, and the look of rage in his face goes far beyond any emotions you've seen him express thus far. The man looks ready to burst. With a shaking hand, he grabs his own circlet and throws it to the ground. Then you see the slit-shaped pupils in his eyes dilate. You swear his horns grow, as well as his tail. Then you notice that his nails are certainly extending. After a deep, resonating growl, he lets out a single, booming roar, as his canine teeth extend and sharpen, and his flesh slowly begins to shift into golden scales. His body grows too large for his clothing, causing it to burst into pieces. Wings as wide as a home shadow the courtyard and his body stretches and grows out into the full visage of an ancient dragon. There it stands--no longer man, now beast. Lord Vraelion the Gold Wyrm. For better or for worse, you haven't had the chance to slay many dragons. The only one you did was a little beyond just an ordinary one. Though this may physically be the largest foe you've ever faced.

When his wings start to flap, you hear Eva scream as she holds down her dress as best she can but to no avail. Niki grumbles as she does the same, flushing red as well, but her attention is mostly on the massive beast ahead of her. Amara grabs onto your arm, and Malakae stands strong beside you. Jelly, however, stumbles backwards and splatters into a blob once again in the grass. She shivers in fear.

Lord Vraelion takes to the sky.

"He's gonna breathe fire on all of us!" Malakae shouts. Then she leaps into action. She sprints forward, and just as her feet leave the ground, her clothing tears apart as well. While she only comes to a quarter of his size, she's still a large enough creature to ride, though in a manner of speaking, that was already the case in her previous form. Either way, she takes off as well, flying straight towards the face of her father.

"We gotta help her somehow!" Niki calls out.

"But we also do not want to strike her by accident," says Amara.

"You dumbie... You're gonna get yourself hurt, Malakae!" Eva huffs. She then looks down at the torn qipao on the grass. "And you're doing this naked?!"

"Eva. I don't think dragons can really be naked, per se," you reply.

Then Jelly pops back up next to you. "Just like me!" she adds.

"No. You are definitely naked right now."
