What's next?

Bumblebee or Wasp

“Would you rather be a bumblebee or a wasp?”

As usual Matt had no idea what this meant. Animals on the cards were new. He looked at Taylor and showed him the card. He just shrugged his shoulder.

„I don’t know man. A bumblebee looks stupid I guess…?“

„I don’t think that is how it works. But given that we still habe absolutely no clue on how it works, I might just go with it. I choose wasp.“

Nothing seemed to be happening, and both Matt and Taylor shared a confused glance. Then, all of the sudden, Matt bend over in pain. His hand shot towards his waist which seemed to burn. Scary cracks could be heard, as if wood was breaking.

His waist slowly narrowed, organs being pushed aside to give place to his steadily inwards moving sides.

It did not take long before the pain stopped and Matt was able to stand straight again. His newly carved waist, together with his already changed posture, greatly accentuated his hips. He would have had a hourglass figure, but luckily for him he was still lacking up top.

„Dude can you still breath?“, Taylor asked genuinely concerned.

„Yeah, doesn’t make a difference actually. This curse changes me but at least it’s not trying to kill me. Not yet at least. Butter need to find a way to stop it.“

Taylor just nodded, turned around and lead the way towards the library. Matt earned couple of strange stares, probably due to his hips swaying with each step. But he could not **** his body to walk normally. He just hopes that nobody really recognizes him while he hid his face under the hood of his jacket.

In the library Taylor vanished shortly and reemerged with a staple of book on old Folklore, magic and myths. He handed Matt half of them and both sit down in a quite corner and started to read.

When Matt opened his first book, a card greeted him, laying on the first page.
