Bullying and revenge

You and your best friend have just entered college, moving a state over to do so to get away from town you grew up in. In your first week or so you have made some new friends on both sides of the popularity spectrum, but have mostly stuck with your friend as you felt slightly intimidated being around new people. One day while you were on an off day, your best friend ran dashing in before slamming the door. “What’s the rush?” You asked raising an eyebrow. “You wouldn’t guess who I saw walking to the floor above ours,” they replied.
