Budget Concerns

"You see, Karlach. We've been looking over our resources and..." Shadowheart chewed her bottom lip. She didn't know how to break this to the powerful woman! This wasn't her fault! If anything, she was in this position purely because she was such an asset to the team.

Lae'zel, however, had no such struggles.

"You've quite literally burned through our stockpile of clothing, as well as our coin." She stated bluntly. "We have nothing left to offer, nor can we afford to continuously buy you garments."

A silence hung in the air. Shadowheart was tempted to shove her cleric staff right down Lae'zel's throat-- Hardly a new feeling, but it was especially strong now. She glared at the reptilian warrior, who seemed to disregard her entirely, then turned back to Karlach.

"Once we... Build up our funds a bit, we'll find you something to wear. And you'll get first claim to any armor we happen to--"

"Naw. Don't you worry about it." Karlach suddenly interjected. She wore an apologetic smile on that crimson face! Clearly, she was flustered, but not overly shocked. Her tail swished against the ground as she rubbed her neck, no longer bothering to cover her private areas.

"I mean... Bit awkward. But I don't really get cold, and it'll take a real ballsy pervert to harass someone like me. So I can walk around with my lady lips out for a bit. Maybe I can, uh... Seduce our way into some supplies, or something!" She laughed at the thought.

Karlach laughed off the situation as she made her way back toward their base camp. Red cheeks swaying, along with her axe. She'd taken this well, supposedly, but Shadowheart couldn't help but feel remorse for their statuesque friend.

"Karlach is among the mightiest warriors I've met. A true warrior needs only their will and a sharpened blade." Lae'zel proposed as they watched Karlach's crimson backside.

"Yeah, well, I don't see you baring those green cheeks as a true warrior, now do I?" The cleric scoffed, preferring to follow their towering teammate, than to listen to Lae'zel's hissing and further.
