So, about this school festival thing. Scottish House Mafia’s a big act. You should definitely take them up on it. But you’ll want to make the best of it. Here’s my two cents. You’ve got some of your own material to play, but it’s not enough to make up a whole set, you catch my drift?

Now, you could get up there and play some top 100 hits and call it a day, but we both know that’s lame. Here’s what I think you should do. I know you’ve been putting some stuff together for a new EP. The samples that you’ve sent are fuckin’ fire. So grind out a couple more songs. I don’t care if they’re 100%, you’re just playing the show, you can tweak it later if you need to. But this is the dream audience to get some feedback and generate some buzz, you hear? Home court advantage.

Huh. That wasn’t the take you were expecting to get, but you’re… not against the idea. How much cooler would it be to play a full set of your own stuff to open for Scottish House Mafia? You nod, feeling the flow, and open up the tracks that you’ve been working on.

You feel good about your chances of completing the EP before the deadline. {elseif Production == 2} You’ve put in a few sessions and have two rough tracks, and it’ll take some work to finish this EP by the deadline. You barely have any tracks completed, and it’s going to require a lot of time to get this EP together by the deadline.{endif} But anyways, if you don’t finish in time, doing the usual DJ thing isn’t a tall ask. You know how to make people dance. The only question is whether you’ll have them dancing to your beat, or someone else’s.
