Britt, a classmate

Mai turned her head to find Britt, one of her classmates. They didn't talk much, and in fact, Britt is quite quiet, so Mai found it strange that she was talking to her.

—Hello, Britt. What happen?

—Do you live here?

—Yes, why?

—Perfect. We can do the biology's homework.

Mai got a knot in her stomach (well, a worse one than she already had). She had completely forgotten about that homework, and it was for the next day. That homework was in pairs and it had left it two days ago, but neither Mai nor Britt had agreed to do it.

Mai opened the door and tried not to show desperation. She didn't want to make a bad impression on Britt, even though they weren't even friends.

—That works. Where is?

—Let's go to your room then.

Mai nodded and led Britt into her room. Mai had a desk in her room, and on the desk she had the laptop.

Mai and Britt left their backpacks by the door. Britt sat up on the bed and Mai went to the desk to grab the laptop.

Mai felt the pressure getting worse, and left the laptop on her bed. She was about to apologize to Britt for going to the bathroom, but she got ahead of her.
