Bring her down.

You activate the magic of your boots, which ironically came originally from the very opponent in your grasp, and the two of you float down towards the ground beside the castle. You hold her tight against you, and soon you're pinning her down against the grass, far from both your allies as well as her own. From above, you can hear the sound of combat immediately beginning--Alice's magic cannon, the flapping of wings, and the ferocity of demons. The enemy ALICE doesn't stand a chance.

"... You win," Meti admits. She doesn't even try to escape.

After inspecting her closely for a moment, you release her and stand back on your feet. You once again draw your sword, and you hold the blade to her neck. "You're staying here for a good while," you say. "Chula! Chini! Patricia! China! Come down here, and escort our guest to her very own prison cell!"

One by one, each of the called harpies come down from above and completely surround the djinn. You then pull back your sword, and turn towards the sound of combat back near the gate. You're not done yet. There's still a dragon or three to defeat before Castle Phoenix is victorious. Two mages from the Circle make a powerful ****, as well as most of your frontliners still over there, but if you want to make sure that a single ally doesn't fall this day, they need their Demon King.

"How's the Shard?" you ask.

Just as you do, you feel a sudden waft of energy that you can't quite explain. Just as before, there's no visible barrier, yet you can once again sense the presence of the Shard of Draconax come to life once again. It doesn't work in that dragons are suddenly ejected from the land of course, or it would be really rough for Malakae, but reinforcements are now impractical, and her cousins will struggle especially if they choose to take to the skies.

Klava, one of Dajy's succubi, peeks over the edge. "The item intercepting the barrier has been destroyed!" she calls out.

"Good job, everyone!" you shout back with a thumbs-up.

There's no more time to wait. With your sword in-hand, you sprint off back towards the battlefield. "Work on getting Mipa and Linzeri out of those cubes while I'm gone!" you add as you disappear around the corner.
