Chapter 10
What's next?
Breakfast
And so, Debbie carried Lauren into the kitchen, the little woman trying to figure out how all this had happened. Much to the little woman's chagrin, she noticed that Debbie was heading towards a small table in the middle of the kitchen.
Or more specifically, the highchair sitting next to it.
Before Lauren could say anything, Debbie had placed her into the highchair, squeezing her chubby, diapered butt into the seat before snapping the tray in place.
"T-this isn't really necessary." Lauren stammered as she blushed scarlet. "I-I don't need a highchair. Now, if you could just let me -"
"I'll be right back with your breakfast, Sweetheart." Debbie said brightly, ruffling Lauren's hair as she turned and walked towards a counter.
Now, Lauren wasn't a moron. She could get out of the highchair easily and try to sneak away. However, this brought up another big question: Where was she going to go when and if she got out of here? Especially dressed like this?
She couldn't go to the police like this, as it would all circle back to square one. Not to mention, the idea of being an adult woman running around in a diaper appeared to be even more humiliating than running around naked!
This, combined with her hangover, was all making her head hurt even more.
That was when Debbie returned with a tray holding two plates of pancakes, a mug of coffee, and a sippy cup of milk. The orphanage worker sat one of the plates down on the table and other on the tray of the highchair in front of Lauren, the little woman cringing slightly as she saw that her pancakes had been shredded into bite sized pieces and nearly drowned in syrup. And the little, pink, plastic fork made to look like a unicorn didn't help.
Debbie sat the sippy cup down on Lauren's tray before sitting down at the table with her mug of coffee. "Eat up, Buttercup!" She said in a sing-song voice as she lifted the mug and blew on it. Before she took a sip, she turned to Lauren and asked, "What is your name, Sweetie?"
"Lauren." Lauren said absentmindedly, the smell of the coffee entering her nostrils. Usually, after waking up with a hangover, Lauren would always cure it with a cup of hot coffee. "Can I have some of that?"
"Hmm?" Debbie asked as she took a sip of her drink. Looking down at the mug, she looked back up to Lauren with a giggle and a warm smile. "Sorry, Lauren, Sweetie. This is a grownup drink. Perhaps you can have some when you're older."
Older?! Lauren was twenty-one! "But I always have a cup in the morning."
That made Debbie's smile falter a bit, her eyes now showing more concern than joy. She was just about to say something when the phone rang. "I'll be right back, Pumpkin." She said as she got up from the table and headed to the other room, coffee in hand.
Lauren let out a sigh as she turned her attention to her pancakes, begrudgingly using the unicorn fork to shovel the food into her mouth. It was good, at least there was that. And she certainly hungry this morning. However, as Lauren was eating, she hadn't noticed the large amounts of syrup dribbling down her chin onto her bare chest...
"Sunny Smiles Orphanage, how can I help you?" Debbie said as she answered the phone. "Oh! Hi, Frank! Yes, Lauren's doing fine! That's her name. Lauren. Anywho, did you find her parents yet?"
Debbie's smile turned to a frown as she heard Frank's response. "Not yet, huh?" She asked. Her frown then turned into an angry glare as she added, "You know, I wouldn't be surprised if they straight up abandoned her. I smelt her breath after you left, and do you know what I found out? They gave her ****. They gave a child ****, Frank! Oh, and it gets better. This morning, as I'm giving her breakfast, she asks if she can have some of my coffee and said that she always drinks it in the morning! How the hell are these people parents?!"
Debbie took deep shallow breaths as she attempted to calm down as her glare turned back into a sad frown. "I'm sorry, Frank. It's just that, this infuriates me to no end. You're my brother, you should know that. Anyway, I should probably get back to her now. Let me know if you hear anything. Good luck on your search. Oh," she gave a smile, "and tell Barbra her favorite sibling said hi. Hmm? Oh, ha ha. Right, I'd be referring to you with that title. Talk to you later, Frank."
With that said, Debbie hung up the phone as she walked back into the kitchen, taking another sip of her coffee as she did so. As she entered, she couldn't help but giggle as she saw Lauren, covered in pancake syrup, begrudgingly drinking the milk from the sippy cup to wash down her pancakes.
"My, someone is a messy eater." Debbie said with a giggle.
Gasping in surprise, Lauren looked up to see that Debbie had returned. The little woman's cheeks burned red as she looked down at herself. She looked absurd! Her bare breasts and chest, as well as her hands, were coated in syrup, making her all sticky. Even worse, she could feel that her belly had ballooned out a bit under the tray, making her embarrassing paunch even bigger.
And to add insult to injury, she had dropped the sippy cup as Debbie came in, the lid snapping off and spilling all over the tray. She let out a squeak as she felt some of the juice flow off the tray, the cold liquid hitting her chest and dripping down her body.
"Don't worry, Sweetie." Debbie said brightly as she undid the tray, sitting it on the counter before picking Lauren up again. "It's bath time anyway."
"C-come again?" Lauren stammered, not liking where this was going.
