Boo!

I knew the girls were around somewhere...I heard two distinct giggles. Since only two of them could actually make a sound, it had to be Mam and Gizzy...but that didn't mean Wykkd wasn't around. I was sure they were up to something...or maybe Mam was just filling them in on our morning...fun. Hmm...Mammoth didn't strike me as the gossipy type though...

"Hey, Skuz." I jumped as Gizmo's head seemed to appear from nowhere...only it was upside down. Looking up, I saw she had her spider-legs out and had been using the to cling to the ceiling. "You better not be messing up my ceiling, Gizzy," I warned, flicking her button nose. Those legs looked sharp enough to damage the paint.

Sticking out her tongue, Gizmo shook her head before carefully lowering herself down to the floor. "Aah, it's fine," she assured me. "I rounded the tips off so they wouldn't damage stuff." I continued making breakfast. "So...what are you three plotting?" I asked. For a moment, I regretted my choice of words. I made it sound like they were going to kill me or something.

If she noticed, Gizmo gave no sign. "You'll find out," she teased. "Oh shit, are you making eggs? Sunny side up for me!" Rolling my eyes, I shook my head. "I don't know how to make sunny side up. I just do scrambled. Besides, if I cater to you, I need to do the same for the others." Gizmo tsked, but didn't complain further.

Which set off all sorts of bells in my head. I suspected it at first, but now I was sure. Gizzy was a distraction. If she REALLY wanted sunny side up eggs, she'd be rallying for them. She wouldn't just let the matter drop. So...Wykkd and Mams were the ones going to surprise me...but how? Skimpy outfits? Teasing me during breakfast? ...or something boring, like cleaning out my garage. ...I hope they weren't cleaning out my garage.
