Chapter 3 by KhepriDrone KhepriDrone

Listen to Brim?

Bonk the ghost

Tally let her eyes widen and breathe quicken for a moment, leaning into Brim's ghostly touch. "Brim... I..."

She brought the pommel of the sword down directly on top of Brim's head, making the projection pop in a puff of pixie dust and other ghostly sparkles. "Really don't have time for this!"

"Oh come on!" Brim muttered, thankfully only in her head and without any accompanying sexy distractions. "You can just consider it... practice for later. You only escaped in the first place because of my power, and you'll need to use it to save the kingdom from the evil Qu-"

"We are using your magic to save the Queen and the kingdom." Tally cuts in as she cuts the last branch, pulling away from the forest to gaze across a barren field and the town beyond it. "She's not evil, she's just..."

"Morally compromised?" Brim guessed as Tally followed a set of fresh animal prints across the open field, tracing the path through a broken fence and through a empty field. "Selfishly sexy?" She took a moment at the broken road sign hanging sideways off a pole that listed the distant town as Vairewright. "Thinking with her snatch?" The fields she followed the tracks through were only halfway through being planted, shovels left out in the sun to rust and seed bags being pecked empty by crows. "A horny devil?" Tally rubbed her forehead as fields slowly gave way to the occasional building, looking around for someone to ask for directions.

"This isn't like her. I've known the Queen for a while, and while she can make the occasional bad decision for her people for her own pleasure, this is something else." She stopped. "Somethings up."

Brim manifested as a pixie just to roll their eyes. "Listen, as a greater spirit of lust, I know a thing or two about dumb decisions made for pleasure. Your Queen-"

"No I mean, somethings up here." Tally gripped her sword with both hands and turned around on the empty road, highly aware of the fact that the only sound in her ears was the wind and the annoying voice of her companion. "There's no animals in the fields, **** farmers wouldn't waste good seeds or let tools rust in the rain, but there's fresh prints on the ground. Somethings been here, and whoever it was was scary enough to make people go running."

Tally listened with her slightly pointed ears, taking a moment to take a closer look at the tracks she'd been following. She'd assumed it was a wild animal, but with all the various monster girls running amuck there was a more likely and more difficult to deal with explanation.

What do the tracks look like?

More fun
