“I think it’s not just the KDK making me want more subjects but I can’t say for certain that it’s my own opinion either. I can say that it wasn’t a level up specifically that made me suddenly want more subjects or anything like that. I think the intelligence upgrade is helping actually as I can remember the first time I was thinking like this, was when we were walking home with Sarah one time. Not including my active effect anyway” Emma explained, giving you some relief that things weren’t completely out of control.

The fact that you could still second guess a mind-altering app was a reason in of itself to believe that it hadn’t completely brainwashed you into accepting it. It felt weird to think that if you ever stopped having these moments of clarity about the app then it might already be too late to do anything about it but I guess that was just one of the things you had to consider when dealing with the KDK.

“Was it anything specific that we said when with Sarah or just a general feeling?” you asked, digging for more details.

Emma seemed to blush at the thought but she still revealed it without any pushing, knowing the topic was important.

“There was just a moment where Sarah was staring at you with this look that… I don’t know, just made me realise that all this stuff with the KDK has made her happier. She’s got that stuff with Jess but I think that would have happened anyway. Anyway, it was just a point where I thought being involved with you would probably improve anyone’s life.” Emma answered, putting you on quite a high pedestal that you had to try and ignore to not let it go to your head.

“I get the KDK improving lives but I think of it like this. At some point we are gonna have to tell everyone about everything that the KDK has done. At least within the group we have already. And if we add someone new to the mix then we need to be able to fully trust them before we can reveal something like that.” you explained, your current short term goals revolving around the 6 subjects you already had.

“You don’t have to tell everyone you register though. There might be people we just see occasionally and that's it” Emma countered.

It seemed Emma was greedier than you when it came to this and while what she was saying was true, you were quite content to stick with the people you had at the moment or only expand it slowly. The carrot you had to dangle for Emma though was something you had already considered long term.

“I don’t think this is the place for this discussion but I do get your point. There is a chance 1 or 2 more subjects soon but if my plans stay the same then I’ll let you think about college. It’s gonna be me, you and Sarah in a different city on our own. Sure we will probably visit everyone a lot and I’m sure they will visit us but there's a lot we can do later on down the line” you continued, trying to lower Emma’s expectations of you becoming finding someone new to add every week.

That did seem to placate Emma and while you had spoken before about college in more general terms, this was the first time you had mentioned expanding the amount of KDK subjects currently registered.

“I still want you to use it more frivolously but… letting me watch you and mom like last night will probably keep me satisfied until college” Emma replied, the joke releasing the tension you had in your shoulders and you finally started walking back to the room again.

“You wanna count that as our first argument?” you said, not being able to help yourself with the joke.

“If that’s what we are gonna be arguing about then I think we’re gonna be fine” Emma teased back.

You made it back to the hotel room with the both of you back to your usual selves but you quietened down when Emma moved to unlock the door. The first thing you noticed was the sound of the shower still running which let you breathe a sigh of relief as you got back inside and tried to act like you hadn’t left in the first place.

It had only been about 10 minutes since you had left, including the impromptu conversation in the hallway so it made sense that Grace was still using the shower. You went back to the places you had been sitting in before and made yourselves comfortable while you waited for Grace to finish up.

“So, who are you going to try and convince to let you watch a blowjob?” you asked Emma, the bet now won and you could feel the mood was right to at least gloat about your reward a little bit.

“Well who would you want it to be?” Emma asked back, the smile on her face telling you this was a trap.

“I’m not gonna fall for that and I'm not picking favourites. You have to decide on your own and now it cant be Grace or Sarah” you replied, hoping to pass the decision back to her without making it too obvious.

You could tell that Emma wanted to complain but Grace choose that time to turn off the shower and with the background noise now gone, both of you didn’t feel it was safe enough to continue talking about the secret that you both shared.

“You two are being awfully quiet” Grace greeted as she walked into the room, this time having a towel wrapped around her now that the KDK wasn’t affecting her.

“We got all our scheming out in the first five minutes” you replied, trying to sound sarcastic even with it being the truth.

Emma did give you a shove as that was a little too close for comfort but Grace only smirked and took it like a joke as you intended.

Grace started getting ready and routed through her case that she still hadn’t properly unpacked while you and Emma just sat there and watched. Grace did briefly look your way when it came to removing her towel but she still dropped it with you both in the room and dressed rather hastily, some of the embarrassment still there even after last night.

Even with her dressing quickly, you still got to enjoy watching her put her clothes back on with somewhat of a reverse striptease and she definitely had a captive audience with even Emma keeping her eyes glued to her body.

What you didn’t expect however was that once you enjoyed watching her get dressed, Grace checked herself in the mirror before turning back to look through her bag, a puzzled look appearing on her face. You looked at Emma whose eyes widened but she managed to hide her reaction by the time Grace looked over at the two of you.

“Do either of you know where the room card is?”
