Chapter 7 - Blur Boundary

The kiss deepened quickly.

Gia’s hands slid into his hair, fingers tightening as she pulled him closer. The desperation from a moment ago hadn’t disappeared; it had simply changed shape. Her breathing was uneven, and he could feel the occasional tremor still moving through her as she pressed herself against him.

Torin’s hand settled at the small of her back. He could feel the warmth of her through the thin fabric of her shirt, the tension in her muscles slowly giving way beneath his touch. She held onto him as if she was afraid that if she let go, whatever had finally broken inside her would come rushing back.

She kissed him harder, then paused for a breath. Her forehead rested against his, their faces close enough that he could feel the warmth of her breath.

“Don’t stop.”

Torin looked at her for a second. Her eyes were still wet, cheeks flushed from crying, but there was something different in them now—something uncertain and almost vulnerable.

He kissed her again.

Gia relaxed into him, one hand remaining tangled in his hair while the other rested against his shoulder. The room had gone quiet around them, the only sound their breathing and the faint hum of the apartment.

Torin kept his movements slow, letting her set the pace.

He pushed her shirt higher. Her bra was already half off from the way she had been curled up. He pulled the cups down and took one breast into his mouth. She arched. A soft, broken sound left her throat as he sucked hard, tongue circling the nipple until it stiffened, then moved to the other one. Her fingers tightened in his hair, holding him there.

Gia’s hips started moving against him without thinking. At first it was barely noticeable, more instinct than intention, but the movement grew as she became lost in the moment.

Torin could feel the change in her—the last of the tension from her crying giving way to something warmer and more urgent. She seemed almost unaware of what she was doing until she paused, breathless, and looked at him.

For a second, neither of them moved.

Then she closed the distance again, holding onto him as though she didn’t want the moment to end. She felt how hard he already was and pressed down harder, grinding slowly, like she needed the friction just to stay sane.

Torin’s free hand slid slowly down the back of her shorts, his touch tentative at first. His fingers caught the edge of the waistband and slipped just beneath it, finding the warmth of her skin.

Gia shivered at the contact and drew closer, her breath catching softly against his mouth. For a moment, Torin’s hand stayed there, feeling the tension in her body and the quick rhythm of her breathing. She didn’t pull away. Instead, her arms tightened around him, keeping him close as the distance between them disappeared completely.

The kiss became slower, heavier, carrying everything neither of them had managed to say.

She pushed him back onto the carpet and climbed over him, catching herself with one hand against his shoulder. Her hair fell forward around them as she leaned down, her mouth finding his neck again, less careful this time. Torin felt her breath against his skin between hurried kisses, her hands moving restlessly as though she couldn't decide whether to hold him or pull him closer.

She kissed along his neck and down his chest, fingers catching the hem of his shirt. She tugged it upward, impatient now, until he helped pull it free. She dropped it somewhere beside them without looking.

When her hands reached his belt, she paused only for a moment before her fingers went to the buckle. She just undid it, pulled everything down, and took him into her mouth in one long slide.

Torin’s head dropped back. A low sound left him. She worked him slow at first, lips tight, tongue flat against the underside, then faster when she felt him throb. Her eyes stayed on his face the whole time, watching every twitch, every breath. Spit ran down the side of her mouth.

She didn’t wipe it. She just kept going, one hand stroking what her mouth couldn’t take, the other braced on his thigh.

He lasted longer than he expected, holding himself still beneath her despite the rush of heat and adrenaline. Then something in him shifted. He reached up, caught a fistful of her hair, and pulled her back just enough to break her momentum.

In one clean movement, he turned them over and rolled her onto her back. The carpet pressed beneath her as he settled above her, both of them breathing hard, the sudden change leaving her staring up at him for a moment.

Her shorts and panties came off next. He spread her legs, looked once at how wet she already was, and positioned himself right at her entrance. The head of his cock rested against her, not pushing in yet. Just there. Waiting.

Gia’s breath hitched, a sharp little sound that disappeared between them. Her hands tightened around his arms, fingers pressing into his skin as if she needed something solid to hold onto.

She looked up at him, eyes still wet from crying, cheeks flushed, lips swollen from their kisses. A few strands of hair had fallen across her face, and she pushed them away without breaking eye contact.

For several seconds, neither of them moved. The room seemed strangely quiet around them; the only sound was their uneven breathing. There was still sadness in her expression, still something wounded beneath it, but now there was something else too—trust, hesitation, and a decision she hadn't put into words.

Torin watched her carefully.

Gia didn't say anything. She only tightened her grip on his arms and kept looking up at him, waiting.
