Big City Night

Leah and Jonathan happened to pull into the driveway at almost the exact same time that afternoon. Jonathan gave her a very thorough look up and down as they both exited their cars. He certainly hadn't expected her attire.

"You just come from a job interview?" Jonathan said with a smile.

"I wish." Leah retorted playfully.

"Not enjoying your job?" he asked, unsure if her remark was playful or she was considering a different job.

"It's just spirit day ha ha ha." she laughed as the two headed inside.

"Ah Gotcha. You sure like these dress up days. So full of school spirit. I didn't expect THAT much commitment." Jonathan said as they settled down inside.

"I mean. I gotta get tenure you know?" Leah said with pangs of guilt.

"Speaking of school spirit you sure know how to raise my...spirit in that outfit." he gave her a sly glance then an over exaggerated wink

"Oh yeah?" Leah said as she gave him an over exaggerated curtsey. She could tell where this was going after he moved in for a long slow kiss.
