Betty texts Amy

'Hey Dianna, have you met with the President or not? What happened?!', She texted Amy again as she crossed campus back towards her dorm. It was unbelievable that she got turned away like that, she thought. That's the moment she got the campus notification on her phone. It was an outbreak alert and advised all students to quarantine at home. 'Wonderful', she thought. At least they're doing something about this.

Her phone buzzed and Dianna texted her back, 'Sorry! Couldn't get hold of the president. I got her number and sent her a text. How are things on your end?'

'I got denied. I warned them, but they wouldn't listen. Now that the notification has gone out, they might listen.', Betty replied.

'That sucks. Have you heard from Amy at all? She isn't responding to my texts.', Dianna replied.

Betty frowned, 'I'll try to see if I can get a hold of her then.', She then tabbed to her conversation with Amy, 'Amy, are you alive? You good?'

Amy's little text bubble typed for a while before cancelling then a message came through, 'I'm fine. Just a bit shaken up. There is something wrong with Vicky. she's acting really weird.'

'Reply to Dianna, she's worried. If you need somewhere to go we can figure something out.', Betty replied.

She locked her phone as she ran across campus in a hurry to get back to her room. If things were going downhill, she didn't want to be caught out.

When she got back, she was relieved to see that Claire had already left. She had texted her earlier in the day saying that she was going out with the same Alpha Phi girl, which only served to make her more nervous. Considering a lock down had been implemented there was a chance that she would change her plans, fortunately that was not the case.

Her phone buzzed again, 'Hey, just touched base with Amy. I'm going to let her crash in my room tonight because of what's happening with Vicky. You're totally free to join us, but that's up to you.'

'I'll let you know.', Betty replied.
