How does Byleth handle these revelations?
Better than most would
"Master? Are you okay?" Sothis said, a look of concern on her face as she looked the shocked professor. Byleth hadn't moved in a minute upon this revelation, so she floated to his side and hugged him tightly, pressing her breasts around his arm. She would have done more, but now didn't seem like the time.
"Y-yeah." Byleth finally replied, moving to return the hug with his free arm. "It's just... a lot to take in. Father never mentioned any of this to me, so I'm just, processing right now."
Sothis took note of how he had referred to Jeralt as 'Father' instead of his name. He was probably feeling pretty vulnerable then. "It's okay, take the time you need." She pats his head before floating of him. Looking back at the Archbishop, she could see some water in her eyes. The ancient Seiros had seen Sothis's motherly side after who knows how many centuries it had moved her to tears.
Sothis shook her head. As much as she would rather leave the talk to Byleth, it was probably be best if she moved the topic to more immediate topics. "Actually, Daughter..." she said slightly awkwardly, the word having gone unused for so long. "Discussing this topic with you was not the main reason we came here today."
Rhea suddenly blinked as she looked at her mother. As wonderful as it was for her to hear her say daughter, she had been so focused on her existence that she hadn't been prepared for more. "And what would that be?" She asks, tentatively.
