Bells of Warning

Ellin was tempted to change Oasis's personality but thought against it. The 'Rainbow Breeding Passes' were powerful, but they still were 'Breeding Passes'. Forcing someone's wants and desires to change might be as bad as forcing people to create babies. Ellin did consider a burning passion for pregnancy would be poetic justice for her sister, an outspoken pregnant hater. But no, Ellin voted to create the Life Binders Coven to oppose the **** of magic.

"What are you two arguing about?" Luke said coming back with a tray of food.

"Nothing," Ellin said turning back to her meal.

The sister sat down as Luke spotted his fiance and the police chief chatting in a booth.

"Hey, Charlotte! Rebecca! foods here when you're ready," Luke shouted.

"Thanks, Luke, we will be right there," Rebecca shouted in return.

Oasis pulled out her phone. She began scrolling through social media before she snapped her fingers.

"Hey, either of you two has a 'Breeding Pass'?" Oasis said eagerly.

"I thought you hated pregnancy, have a change of heart?" Ellin said with a smirk.

"No stupid," Oasis said turning to her sister.

"Yes, I have one in my pocket, why?" Luke said concerned.

"Take it out, I want a picture of it," Oasis said pulling up her phone camera app.

"I would rather not," Luke said looking around worried.

"I rather focus on food than worry about losing control again," Luke said before starting to eat.

"If you really want to take a picture of one let Oasis handle it, she is immune to the "Breeding Passes' now," Luke said between bites.

"Ellin grab Luke's pass. Let's share the news of this crazy thing online." Oasis said excitedly.

"We need to get the word out," Oasis said looking between Ellin and Luke.

"Oasis, you said you felt it right the power the 'Breeding Passes' had over you. You were lucky to escape but consider the power necessary for every pass to work. Do you think that people controlling that kind of power are stupid? Cameras and phones are everywhere. I bet the Los Angeles Coven has ways to prevent their 'Breeding Rituals' from being discovered by the public." Ellin said still angry from earlier.

"She is probably right, I don't think it's going to work. But here give it a try." Luke said with a shrug.

Luke looked around again before slowly taking his 'Breeding Pass' from his pocket and putting it on the chair next to Oasis.

"Don't let her touch it," Luke warned staring at Ellin.

"Relax, if she wants to play with fire I won't stop her from getting burned," Ellin said putting down her sandwich.

"Ha, if falling victim to the passes is getting burned, then I must be burnt to ashes," Luke said recalling his many baby mamas.

"Enough chat, just hold it up for a picture," Oasis said raising her phone.

Ellin held the card in her lap, right over her bare pregnant belly.

"Can I just get the card, remove the pregnant sister from the shot?" Oasis said looking through her camera.

"Get used to it, bellies are going to be everywhere soon," Ellin said angrily.

"Ya, but by then everyone will have shirts that fit," Oasis said holding her finger down a time capture for multiple pictures.

"Done yet?" Ellin asked annoyed.

"Done, let's tell the world," Oasis said excitedly.

"Hope the internet, answers kindly," Luke said with a laugh.

"You never know, by sharing we help people avoid the mall," Oasis said typing on her phone.

"More like you will cause more people to investigate and fall victim," Ellin said returning to her food.

At that a Low Bell Rang in the Minds of Everyone in the Sunny Day Mall Shopping District.

"Attention all Shoppers, the 'Breeding Day' will be Ending in 90 minutes. Please find your mates and start a new future before it's too late. Act now, the Sunny Day Mall will be closing at ten." a feminine voice said.

A moment passed where everyone in the Restaurant looked around shocked silent. But a select few were interrupted again.

A second bell, higher-pitched than the first chimed in the Minds of All Sorcerers in the Sunny Day Mall Shopping District.

"Attention all New Sorcerers please consider joining the Los Angeles Life Coven. Remember we create and nurture life. Beware Warlocks who feed off **** and destruction. Avoid Leaving the protected areas without high-level escorts. P.S. At the end of today's 'Breeding Ritual', all 'Breeding Passes' will disappear. All physical and electronic evidence will be removed from this dimension. The memories of all non-magical people will be changed to match their new future as parents. Yes, we know about the internet. Happy Breeding." the same feminine voice said.

"Hey did you guys just hear that? That was Glinda!" Oasis said in a rush.

"Oasis, forget posting those pictures, It's not going to work," Luke said standing up.
