Being In A Team Is Hard

Tom sprinted to first obstacle, a rope climb, and was on the rope and pulling himself up, he was neck and neck with Jax, Malik, and Shane. Touching the top bar he dropped down to go to the next obstacle when he heard a loud thud.

Nigel: OW FUCK!!

Nigel was on the ground massaging his ass as David was struggling up. Tom looked back at the course and saw how the Bulls powered through the obstacles. In less than a minute Jax finished then Malik, and finally Shane. All the while David and Nigel were still on the rope.

Ava: AND THE BULL TRIBE WINS! Let’s see if the shrimp can even finish!.

Tom helped up Nigel up of off the floor

Tom: You okay? Look it’s not about arm strength. Use arms to hold on to the rope but then use your core to lift your legs. Wrap your legs around the rope, extend your core, grab higher on the rope and repeat, okay?

Nigel: I know how to climb a stupid rope. I just slipped.

It was then that David hit the top of the bar.

David: holy shit you’re right, that worked! Thanks Tom!

David said as he continued down the course.

Aria: Don’t finish early honey! I’d love to get one of those tattoos!

Nigel then hit the top board and now it was the race of the Shrimp Tribe. Tom quickly took over David and Nigel, he got to the final obstacle. A large 8 foot wooden wall. It was struggle for Tom to get to the top and looking back he wondered if David and Nigel could do it themselves. David was currently a bit ahead of Nigel. Tom could help them up but then he’d have to pray they wouldn’t sprint past the finish line leaving Tom in last.
