Behind lock and key

Alex bashed in the first door that was ajar she could find, hoping she could find shelter from the Ripper. She slammed the door behind her, while locking the door chain. She doubted that it would help, but it felt necessary in a way. Walking backwards with her eyes aimed at the door, she heard the loud banging and cracking from the Ripper trying to enter.

Panicking, she walked over to the corner of the room and grabbed the standing lamp. She spread her legs, and held the lamp in a defensive position.

Soon, the Ripper burst through the door, it’s one good eye locking with hers. It sprinted towards Alex and pounced at her, making her drop on her back. Blocking it’s paws with the lamp, she feared that **** was but inches away, not unlike the venomous fangs that attempted to bite her.

“GET AWAY FROM MY FIANCÉE, YOU BEAST!” Grabbing a nearby chair, Jane slammed the Ripper from the side with all her might. While the creature was briefly dazzled, Jane grabbed Alex’s hand and lifted her up. “Are you hurt?”

“Hardly.” The two looked at the Ripper, which had now recovered. They dashed out of the room, they met up with Sarah and Kyle and fled further down the living quarters.

Meanwhile, Caroline ran towards the radio, holding Shakes in her hands.

“God, I hope you guys are alright.” She wailed softly. In the distance she saw the door to the radio room, bringing the woman some hope. This hope disappeared as quickly as it came when she found the door locked. “Seriously?! Not now?!” She kept bashing the door with all her might, to no avail.

In the end, she gave one last pound before she moaned in frustration and turned around to find another way. Exploring the rest of the hallway, she saw a large door. Looking at the keyhole, she wondered…
