Beginning of her downfall.

Katherine looked at the top file and it was for her sister Jillian. She had been imprisoned for burglary and was due for release today and as Katherine was her sister she had arranged for a room at the hostel. She wanted nothing to do with her sister but she felt a certain responsibility to take care of her not just as her sister but as the chief of San Clementine police. So it was arranged her secretary Isabella had been dispatched to pick Jillian up from prison and take her to the hostel. When Isabella returned she informed that she had dropped Jillian off at the hostel and went back to her work after Katherine had thanked her. Katherine went back to her work organising an operation against the Gomez crime cartel which was a multi-organisation operation involving Federal, state and local law enforcement. She attended the meeting between the heads of departments from all the interested agencies and when that meeting finished she headed home.

Jillian had settled into her room and put away her meagre possessions and lay on her bed waiting for the burner phone to ring and contemplating her future. The phone rang and on the other end, a gruff voice told her that she was to do a job robbing the local jewellery store and as she memorized the details she had a thought. She was envious of her sister who had everything and as they were twins she was sure she could pull off her plan she just needed her sister's DNA and maybe even her uniform. Then there was also an added bonus of having an ally in her sister's office in Isabella who would help her with the other details. She needed to visit her loving sister and to get what she needed to start her plan but she had another thought and it put a smile on her face. Sure she could frame her sister but that would be too quick she wanted her sister to suffer and feel humiliated along the way.

Katherine was relaxing on her couch when the bell rang and she went and opened the door and there was Jillian and she frowned. "What do you want Jillian?" asked Katherine. Jillian smiled back saying "Katherine I just came to tell you that I will be leaving San Clementine and I wanted to have a farewell drink with my sister." Katherine looked at her sister then reluctantly invited her in and they went back to the couch and Jillian placed the bottle on the coffee table. Katherine got some glasses and Jillian poured the wine and they chatted until Katherine excused herself and headed to the bathroom, which gave Jillian the chance to drop the liquid sedative into Katherine's wine before she returned. When Katherine returned she picked up her glass, drinking the wine and sat back down After some more chat she started to feel sleepy and soon she was out cold. Jillian smiled as she got up making sure her sister was asleep.

She lifted and carried her twin to her bed and tucked her in then found the keys to her sister's car and went outside and drove to the jewellery store. She disabled the alarm but left the camera's running for good reason. She would normally be masked up but she wanted her features caught on camera for good reason. Once she had the jewels and retrieved the hard drive from the CCTV she left and dropped her sister's car back at her house and left a note saying goodbye to her sister and thanking her for the evening. The next morning Katherine woke with a headache and as she showered and for dressed it seemed to get better. She had breakfast and then headed to the station and entered her office and bumped into Isabella coming out of her office who told she had just dropped off the mail. Katherine thanked her asked for a coffee as she struggled to remember what happened last night all she could remember was relaxing on her couch then waking in bed this morning.
