Beginning a new life, time to say farewell

Lexi smiles brightly upon seeing Lex approach. "Ah, my other half." Her eyes look from him to Konqus. "It's nice to see you again." Konqus looks from Lexi to Lex then back again. "I must have missed something." After a brief explanation, she is brought up to speed. "So that's what that earthquake was all about..." She leans gently against Lex's right arm. "This will take some getting used to. Hmm, perhaps we can have some fun the next time you two are here." Lexi giggles. "Perhaps."

Her eyes glance at Bianca who is clinging to her arm. "Although I think the three of us would be more accurate, Konqus. This is my girlfriend, Bianca. Bianca, this is Konqus. She's the Den Mother of the lizardfolk." Konqus looks at Bianca for a few seconds. "Ah, it's so nice to finally meet you." She offers a hand to Bianca. "You have an extraordinary lover." Her eyes narrow slightly. "I pray you are up to the task of satisfying them, Bianca." An ominous stillness fills the air as Bianca glances at Konqus' hand.

"It's a fun challenge but I don't think anyone else would fare as well, Konqus." Bianca takes Konqus' hand and gently shakes it. They glare at one another for a few seconds. Lex gently places his hand on Konqus' shoulders while Lexi pulls Bianca closer to her side. Lex leans close to Konqus and whispers against her tympanic membrane. "I understand your frustration, but I would prefer a nice and civil send off. Will you do that for me?" Konqus turns to look at Lex. "Okay, but only because you asked nicely."

Lexi gently kisses Bianca's cheek then whispers into her ear. "Don't let her taunt get to you, Bianca. I love you." Bianca turns to look at Lexi. "Don't worry. I won't, Lexi." She leans gently into Lexi's side and whispers. "I love you too." Her body pressing a bit closer to Lexi's. She leans in to kiss Lexi's lips. Lex holds Konqus close. "I've been meaning to ask. Have you met Pyroc?" Konqus glares at Bianca and Lexi as they kiss before looking at Lex. "Pyroc? I don't know who or what that is."

He tilts his head while thinking of how best to describe Pyroc. If she hasn't met him, telling her about his personality would be meaningless. "Um, he's an elemental made out of smoldering black lava rocks. He can change his appearance to match who he is interacting with. So that is about the best I can give you." Her eyes immediately fill with excitement. "You've met him!?" She looks toward the volcanic mountain then back at him. "He is a legendary being of great power. What did he have to say?"

He tells her about the interaction with Pyroc that occurred in chapter 117. Her eyes are even wider than before. "Oh my. You were touched by his flames and came out unscathed? That is truly remarkable." There is a short pause. "I know I shouldn't be surprised since you are so powerful, but it is still a shock. You've become a legend in your own right." She hugs him tightly. Her tail is sticking straight up. "All you need now is a few epic battles under your belt and you'll be remembered for all time."

(Author's note: For those who don't remember, Pyroc first entered the story in chapter 116 and things wrapped up for him in chapter 119.)

Bianca lifts a brow. "You didn't see the battle that Chasan broadcast earlier?" Konqus looks at Bianca. "What are you talking about?" Everyone, except for Lex and Lexi, gave their accounts of the fight. Konqus blinks rapidly while absorbing the information. After a few quick questions, she lets out a long breath. "Man, that sounds like an epic battle. It's a shame I missed it." She hugs Lex tightly. "Mm, this is further proof that I chose the right man for me." Bianca hugs Lexi tightly. "So long as you aren't as interested in Lexi."

Konqus glances at Lexi then looks at Bianca. "I would like some time with her too, but I am far more interested in him than her." She nuzzles against Lex's chest. "Even though they are literally the same person, I am more attracted to males." Bianca nods a bit. "Although my preference is women, I understand what you mean, Konqus." Lex holds Konqus gently close. "It's nice to know that both sides of me are accepted." Lexi says the same thing to Bianca while holding her close.

Lex and Lexi look to those gathered round. "I know it seems rather sudden, but it is time for us to go." He looks at Sazla then his children as Lexi looks at Bianca then at Gloria. "Is everyone ready to go?" Sazla walks up to him and gently holds his hands. "The kids and I won't be going back. Not this time at least." He blinks. "Oh?" At the same time, Gloria bows her head slightly. "I wish to remain here for the time being. There is much I need to do here before returning, mom."

Lex looks at his children. He realizes within an instant why they are staying behind. Ziksa is possessively rubbing the top of Thisle's head. Fauve is squeezing Fug'nak's ass. Torral is holding Diniel close. Dempsey is holding Lysossia's hand. However, Divi moves to his side and hugs him tightly. "Don't worry, daddy. I'm staying with you." He smiles softly before kissing the top of Divi's head. "What about your mother?" She looks down slightly. "Mom said she wants to spend some alone time with Pyroc."

Before he can say anything, Mi-Suk smiles softly. "Don't worry about me. I will just get in the way if I go with you." She looks off to the side. "That and I would prefer not to end up in Cayley's sights. From what Divi told me, that girl has an obsession for slime girls." Lex and Lexi nod knowingly. "That's true." Everyone chuckles after hearing them talk in unison. Gloria walks over to Sazla. "I will take care of them in your stead, Lex and Lexi." Sazla glances at Gloria before taking a step back. "The reason I plan to stay is more than just for our children's sake. I feel the world must know of your greatness. I will spread word of your deeds, my love. "

Lex gently steps from Konqus and hugs Sazla tightly before kissing her lips gently. "All right, love. Just be sure to stay safe and heed Gloria's advice. She may be younger than you on this plane of existence, but she is strong and knowledgeable." Sazla nods slightly. "I will." His eyes look at his children before he smiles. "I'm proud of you all. How about a hug before I get going?" Without a word, they all rush him and hug him tightly. He kisses the top of their heads one by one while hugging them tightly in return. "Take care of each other and most importantly your mother."

Lexi looks at Thistle, Fug'nak, Diniel, and Lysossia. "I look forward to your progress upon my return." They nod slightly. Sofia quickly says her goodbyes as well before joining the line up. Lex looks at everyone as they say their final goodbye. Lex, Lexi, Divi, Sofia, and Bianca hold hands while he uses the Warpstone to return home. Will there be any surprises upon returning home? Or will things simply go back to normal?
