Before she could answer, her secret got out

Before she could continue, a servant ran into the room. "M'lady! I have bad news!"

"What is it?" She asked in concern.

"Someone found out about your affair with this goblin and now everyone knows!"

Nara gasped. "WHAT?!"

"I am afraid so, m'lady! They are now calling you a goblin whore and saying you don't deserve the crown. They also say that they will not allow you to continue as queen."

Nara was panicking and Kazex was in shock.

"That can't be true!" Nara yelled. "They can't!"

The servant nodded. "It's true, m'lady. They are calling you a slut who betrayed the kingdom. Some are wanting you to be hanged. You must escape the castle before they find you!"

Kazex was scared now. He never wanted to be associated with the princess' scandal.

Nara began to cry. "My people will never forgive me for this! Come with me, goblin!"

Nara took Kazex to a secret escape route and ran out of the castle. She knew she could not stay where she was.

Kazex helped her sneak out of the kingdom as he was good at sneaking.

Once they were in a safe place, Nala sat down wondering what to do now. She could never return to her home with the threat of being killed. Her reputation was ruined.

Then she looked at Kazex. She did not regret her actions last night with the goblin. He was the best lay she ever had and it made her feel good to do so. Now she felt guilty about using him and what she did.

Kazex felt bad for her and wanted to help. "Do you want to start a new life somewhere else?"

"Yes. I can't live in my kingdom after what I did." She sobbed.
