Bed And A Wakening

God, I can't even remember the last time I spent the night in a bed under a roof. Unless it was that night at the tavern in the Land Of Sand and even then that was only a termite mound that solidified with a pair of blankets over it! There aren't many roofs in the wilderness unless you could the foliage of the trees in the Land of Grass. Mostly just open skies or clouds and rain!

Still something in me didn’t think staying with the kin of my enemy felt right, even if it did give me substance for the coming trip! Still one look at Liora and my resolve starts to disappear. “What deviltry is this? Why such a massive bed for one of slight build?” I vaguely recall hearing a tale of females who lure males into their bed only for them to disappear forever.I would say my suspicions grew but my fatigue took over almost everything.

A soft spoken voice, “Relax Arthur, all is safe here!” and I began to do just that!

I shrugged and went to return to the bed when I spied Liora laying on the opposite side of where I laid. She was on top of the blankets, naked as the day she entered this world.
